A little bit out of the centre but great atmosphere in the bar. It was a contiki hostel so pretty crazy most nights. Staff were super helpful recommending nightclubs around the city

It's a good hostel regarding its price. Also 3.9 euro breakfast was satisfactory.

I loved this place as it had what I needed! Cleanliness, security, decent facilities and fantastic staff! It's close enough to all the great sights including the schonbrunn palace! Very close to metro and if you are a fan of shopping, Mariahilfer Strasse is just a few minutes away!! There's a fantastic sandwich place on Mariahilfer Strasse called Duran. I loved this place!I've never seen such pretty sandwiches and if your not into sandwiches, (which I'm not!), you're gonna love this place!

Good hostel with equipped kitchen (night di with a fee extra pots), good internet and nice activity board to have ideas on what to do. They give a treat token when you arrive which is great. Breakfast has a good variety but maybe a bit high at €3.90. Dorms have ensuite and no other bathrooms are in floors, which can be VERY annoying...

Really enjoyed our stay at this hostel!! One of the best on our whole trip, mainly because we met a lot of people and had a good laugh in the bar. Good for younger people. Enjoyed reading the graffiti on the beds.

There need to be more than 2 powerpoints accessible in a six person room. The noise curfew after 10pm is great. The breakfast seems overpriced for the food on offer. Washing lines to hang out washing to let it dry would've be awesome. Kitchens were good to cook in but the fridge is a little lousy at keeping food cold. Some staff were great, others quite rude. Was really great to let us check in before 2pm.

I was only there for one night, but it was one of the better hostels I've stayed at. Professional, clean, laid-back atmosphere and lots of friendly faces. I was on the 4th floor so I didn't have to hear too much of the partying going on downstairs, but it might get noisy on the weekends. Location is a bit out of the center but the walk isn't too bad and the Ubahn is nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Wombats is a very basic hostel and isn't really as lively as they want it to be. However the rooms were cleaned everyday and there was a good shower and fans for the room. No hair dryer unfortunately but the fan provided can double up as a hair dryer. The location does let it down, very close to the train station so good for train links but is a 40 minute walk away from the city centre and the area it is in isn't really one to walk around. The staff here are very helpful and friendly

It is a proper hostel with everything a hostel must have. Great information and excellent value for money. Pls add switches in the rooms. The free City tour with guide Charles is a highlight and it was one of the best i have done, do not miss it! I highly recommend this place as value for money. If you do not mind spending a few more euros you can go to any of tge 2 other hostels they have, better located and more trendy.

Excellent hostel. Made me feel at home. It is convenient to reach the public transportation and is very quite at night. It is really cheap and comfortable staying there.

Best Atmosphere and very nice barkeepers who can make the best pipelines! Also free Pasta is very convenient. Definetely my 1st choice in Vienna. Btw: the Staff from the other Wombats has the best "Wiener Schmäh"!

Nice hostel with great kitchen facilities. Wish I had known it was a contiki hostel,I would have thought twice about booking it. Really effected the atmosphere of the hostel.

This is big-scale hostel, so more like a hotel. They provide a payable breakfast which is good. 10 mins walk to the metro and Rail station.

Lockers big enough for backpacks. Spacious room. Bit far too walk to the centre but easy enough on metro or trams. Everything seemed a bit old. But kept clean. Bar downstairs very busy and noisy but sound wasn't an issue elsewhere.
