Good hostel, but no real common space unless you count the bar. within walking distance from Westbahnhof, but in kind of a dodgy area and not near any great bars or nightlife. Also when walking from WBH, you pass the other Wombat's along the way, but they're different! just keep walking. overall good, but if you can find something closer to town you might want to go with it.

I felt very welcome and safe. it was easy to get into the city and back. I am definitely interested in checking out some of the other wombat hostels as well.

A very big, but interesting hostel, close to the railwaystation (west). The rooms are big and clean with a table and chairs. You have to pay extra for the breakfast, but it's worth, the breakfast is giant(with different coffee's from the machine).

This would have been a very standard accommodation if it were not fot the staff. I had to shorten my stay twice, both times at very short notice. The staff never treated it like a problem, and both times refunded my the money for the nights immediately, and in cash. They even printed my train tickets for me both times. They are very professional and courteous.

I think hostel is quite impressive, but not in any particular area. They have a nice guest kitchen, helpful staff, good breakfast, and it's clean! They just do everything right.

An initial lack of organisation when we arrive - we had to wait half an hour to check in, only then to be given a form to fill out, then we had to queue again. The en-suite rooms were good though, location was not a problem, breakfast worth the Euros although 10am check-out was a bit tough! All in all a good Vienna experience!
