The rooms were very nice, the staff super friendly. Only thing is the private bathrooms. A nice thought, but in dorms it means waking up any time your roommates use the toilet or shower. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely go back!

It was an amazing hotel. the atmosphere was vere exciting and amazing, with a lot of funny at the bar. I recommend the hotel to everyone that is going to visit Wien.

Very nice building, modern and nice location, even through the building is located against the West train station so when sleeping with the widow open you have to sleep with train sounds. Good big lockers and decent beds. Only 3 power outlets on the room, one in the bathroom, one beside the door and one beside the lockers.

Excellent hostel with friendly staff and clean facilities. Slightly far away from the hot spots but if you are tight on budget, wombats the base is a good option as compared to their other outlet at Naschermarket.

The hostel was excellent, especially considering the price. It's on the backside of Westbahnhof, which makes it a 5 minute stroll from the tube and trolleys getting you anywhere.

Wombats was one of the best hostels I stayed at. It was extremely clean (we got to our room with packaged bedsheets) and we even got upgraded from a 6 person to a 4 person! They also offer very cheap (4 euro) all you can eat breakfast which was very good and convenient. The staff was also very helpful and let us leave our stuff in the storage room when we checked in too early and had a late night bus. They also organize free walking tours which is great, definitely worth staying!!!

Picked this hostel since I had an early train ride out of the city. The free drink on arrival was a nice touch. Dorm room had one shower/sink/toilet in the room. Lockers for each bed in the room. Breakfast was worth the extra fee for a good start to the morning. Wifi will not work in the dorm rooms to keep noise down. The bar area downstairs is the common meeting area. I did not feel entirely safe in the area around the hostel after dark. I would not recommend wandering around in the early hour

The lockers inside dormitory are big enough to store a suitcase and this is not always the case in other hostels! Also, they clean dormitory up every day and it's essential to live there. Even the common kitchen is kept always clean and it is well-equipped. Staff is kind. Atmosphere is good: if you like you can join the music bar, otherwise you can stay in the big dining room with wi fi connection (only there). Cons: you have just to walk a bit from the railway station. Expensive breakfast.

Great place for party in group. Many pleople but the facilities are prepared, the only thing is that should be cheaper... but well it's an expensive city.

The staff was very friendly and they resolved you effectively any problem you had during your stay. It's a cozy hostel, and the rooms and bathrooms ensuite are very clean. There is a small kitchen in where you can prepare any meal you want. Breakfast is a great value for money. Also, there are supermarkets and fast food locals near to the hostel which are cheaper than in other locations of the city. In less than 10 min walking there is the nearest metro station (u-bahn) as well as tram stations.

A bit expensive, but that's okay. However, the music from the bar is very loud and even through triple doors you can clearly hear everything from your room.

While I was staying, the hostel was mostly full of a massive group of hundreds of school kids on a field trip so there was a terrible atmosphere in the bar and breakfasts were carnage. However everything is modern and clean, the kitchen is great and Wombats' free walking tour was one of the best I've been on. Its a fair way from the centre, right by the Westbahnhoff station, but it takes less than 30 mins to stroll into town along the main shopping street so its not exactly out in the suburbs.

The staff is really nice and friendly. However the hostel is not so well located. It takes a long to go by foot until the middle of the city center since the Mariahilfer Street is a very long street!
