Great staff! Very friendly and helpfull.

Wombats is a great all-around choice if you're staying in Vienna. We arrived in the morning, but were able to store our luggage for free and use a guest shower, so the afternoon check-in wasn't a problem for us. The facilities were clean and the lobby/bar area were cool hang-out spots.

I was back after 3 years and I can honestly say that the Wombat's in Viena are the Best Hostels in the world. Thank you for everything.

The rooms were pretty decent, everything was clean. It's right near one of Vienna's many train stations and also near the main shopping street. The main problem for me is honestly that the wifi is only in the common rooms and on the main floor. I really disliked that. However, the staff was friendly and helpful and even printed my boarding pass for me, which I really appreciated!

The staff are awesome, and it's a nice place. However, it's probably not a great place for solo travelers to meet other people. The bar is great, but they start with the loud music right from when it opens, so there is no time to sit at the bar and get to know each other before the party starts. Otherwise, I liked this place.

This is the best hostel in I ever stayed in. No complaints, everything perfect. Period.

Great staff! The towels and sheets were free, but breakfast was a little extra. Still perfect for my needs. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but that may have just been the people in my room.

This was the most successful place for my traveling companion and I to meet other travelers and form great friendships that will continue through our travels! The hostel is set up really well, super easy to find and check in, clean clean clean! The bar is located downstairs and DOES NOT echo through the halls of the hostel, I loved this about this place- my fellow roommates and I went downstairs for a few drinks and then went upstairs to a QUIET night's sleep! highly recommend this place!

Nice hostel to stay at, everything worked as expected. Wombats is good as each hostel operates the same so you know what you are getting. The only issue we had was that the rooms are warm in summer

Poor roommates, making noise at 3 am.... revenge on the morning but not enough. hotel was good, the guests were the problem ^^.

Amazing hostel for youths and young at heart. Nice little bar at the basement with amazing happy hours. Good breakfast buffet for nominal prices. And the best part - the staff! I left an expensive jacket in the hostel while leaving. But after I emailed the hostel regarding this, the staff promptly checked the postage costs and posted the jacket which I received in Finland within a week. Really worth the money and a great place to stay!

Great location right next to the main train station, clean rooms, helpful staff and great kitchen facilities! Highly recommend
