Wombats City Hostel Vienna - The Lounge Reviews

My brief experience at the hostel was ok, but I must say that you are the only hostel where I was, where you have to pay to use a computer. And it would be nice to have wifi coverage in the rooms.

Excellent in every possible way. First of all, if you have an Eurail Pass it's the best place 'cause is 100 m from the main train station. Besides, you have the metro stop in from of the stations, trams, etc... The staff was really kind, the place is clean, it has a bar downstairs... I din't have breakfast but they told me it was good value for money... Definitely one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in...

Be prepared to some noise in the nigth as next doors to you probably will be bunch of teenagers, just run away from home and enjoing freedom - at 2 or 4 in morining :)

Wombats is one of the few places I would really call home in Europe. I fell in love with wombats for many reasons: great staff, very clean rooms and bathrooms, and the Wombar!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a little problem with our booking, but it was our fault and the staff fixed it without any comment. They gave us an discount. Everything was 100% and i will recomment this hostel to my friends in the world.

absolutely great hostel

Big impersonal hostel where a company that is already making a lot of money tries to make it artificially friendly. Some staff were helpful, it is convenient to be so close to Westbahnhof but I was glad to only stay the night.

The hostel has everything we need when traveling. The staff are friendly. The room is very clean. It is a very high quality hostel.

Best hostel I stayed in. the rooms were spacious, the wifi was good, the bathrooms were clean, right next to a grocery store and around the corner from a train station. The breakfast was good but we were under the impression it was included but it was 3.80. not much of a big deal and the hot chocolates were amazing.

The rooms had proper little bathrooms attached which was nice(great showers)! everything was clean and modern.

I've stayed for only one night with my kids in Lounge. Now I believe that one day when my kids grow enougt travel alone, they must visit Wombat's in Wien again. Because hostels are the best place to know other people from other places in the world. Sightseeing, communication with global friends! That's the real travelling!!

Hands down one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

The walls are like paper thin. I could hear every step on the floor.

Comfortable room and beds, good location, nice environment, convenient facilities, and good breakfast. The only but very important downside to it is that wifi cannot be accessed in the room.

Prices were really good compared with other hostels. Rooms had ensuite bathrooms which is nice, and something you don't see that often in hostels. Each bed also had a large locker provided for free, which was great. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Bar downstairs was good, had cheap food and drinks. Location of the hostel is great - right near the Westbanhof and just off the main shopping street, only about 15 mins from the centre of town.
