Everything was perfect !

My go-to hostel choice. If a Wombats is in a city it counts as the standard which others have to match up to.

In the room, I can' t use wifi .

Everything excellent except the dorm room which is a little bit uncharming.

Right next to the main station which is convenient although not much touristy stuff is in that area. The free walking tours go from the other wombats (25 minute walk). Rooms are spacious and clean, bar is fun and lively. Amazing lounge bed near reception for quick snoozes.

Thanks to the friendly staff for recommending me a concert to go to and showing me the directions. It was a very good experience. The bartender was friendly too. The hostel is also conveniently located - just few minutes walk away from Wien Westbahnhof. nice.

This was a great place to stay. Really convenient (close to the trains), clean, comfortable environment. Internet only available downstairs and not in each room. The all-you-can eat breakfast available each morning was fantastic. Also appreciated the free welcome drinks at the bar :)

Good hostel for the value, location and facilities. The train station is incredibly close, as is the metro and tram. Plenty of common areas and a kitchen for guest use, free towels, clean facilities and well-sized rooms. The bar downstairs has well-priced drinks, live entertainment sometimes and is a great (and popular) place for meeting new people. Helpful and friendly staff. Tip: check out the bratwurst stand across the street for good and cheap food.

Nice hostel, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. You get a free drink on the hostel's bar, there's a kitchen and the breakfast is excellent for a good price (3,80). Would reccomend it without a doubt! The only bad thing is that they do not have wi-fi in the room, although is for a good reason: to bring people closer, and to keep people from typing or skyping late at night.

There are two Wombats hostels in Vienna. Many people were accidentally booked another Wombats hostel even had come by train to Westbahnhoff. Name would perhaps be Wombats hostel near Wien Westbahnhoff.

I couldnt take wifi in my room. it was just first floor!!!

Fantastic staff. Clean comfortable rooms with individual lockers! Downstairs bar was a good time and its conveniently located near the metro and a block away from the airport bus! Would def recommend!

Nice place, nice breakfast buffet, great bar! Enjoyed my stay there! Cheers to Sebastian the bartender who had his last night when i was there, too bad, he really cheered things up!

Good location, good breakfast, and it's always good when there's a bar! Only downer was not having wifi in the rooms and that I don't think there's an age limit as our dorm was full of 50+ year olds...but aside from that it's all good.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The location was very good for me. It is very close to the U-Bahn, Westbahnhof train depot and tram lines. It was very easy to get anywhere in the city from the location.

We don't understand the hype about this hostel, it was good, but not great. Location was close to the train station but could be closer to the city center, would recommend another Wombat hostel closer to the center. Breakfast was nice for €3.80. We had a double room which was quite expensive. Parking is problematic around the hostel, but excellent at the Park+Ride (€3 for 24 hours).

Would be great if wifi is also provided in the rooms.

Great hostel with a nice bar and fantastic atmosphere, good kitchen with everything you need and even free food! we walked to most parts of town and it is close to restaurants and pubs

I love staying at Wombats. Fantastic staff, nice environment for lounging. Free computers, good kitchen, excellent breakfast. I have stayed at Wombats before in Germany and I will stay again if I have the opportunity.
