They did not clean the bathroom and toilet everyday.

Although there is no breakfast included it is all you can eat for a good price, and it was a very good meal. The bar and kitchen are good areas to hang out at all times of the day and very accessible. The rooms are also very nice, and they have good, secure lockers! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The only thing is if you need to use their computers you do have to pay.

Decent location, scrupulously clean, and a delicious cheap breakfast. The best part, though, was definitely the great reception staff.

That's the best hostel that I ever stayed in.

Great hostel, location is good (near the train/metro station), staff is helpful, and the overall experience is good!

I stayed here, after staying at 'Wombats - The base' and immediately like this one better, for its close location to the station, and for the massive smile I got from the staff behind reception as I entered :)

Very good hostel : access to kitchen, to fridge, to crockery and cutlery ; tea and coffee free. Very good breakfast (3.90 euro, not 3.80). Rooms and toilets are clean. Staff very helpful. Large common space, internet. Very close to the trainstation. Neighborhood civilized. Security. It is far superior to Wombats City - The Base. A TV would be necessary.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay while visiting Vienna. The staff, location and facilities were great. Would definitely recommend Wombats - The Lounge to a friend. Only downfall was the annoying pervy Aussie staying in our dorm. He snored, farted, watched films on his laptop without earphones and took other peoples cigarettes. Obviously this can't be helped. Apart from that though it was great!

Wombat City Hostel in Vienna is a very professionally functioning hostel. I gave it the highest ratings in the fields provided. It should be mentioned, that it probably appeals to the younger set, the party goers more. It can be noisy at times with people returning late, or early in the morning, or a delivery truck doing business outside your window at 05:30 AM. Overall, it was very good - with a bit of give and take. Having Viennas great transport system almost at your door step is an advantage

Comfy, friendly hostel, the location is a bit out of 'the city centre' but it is right next door to the main train station, the facilities were great and the bar had a nice atmosphere

We had a nice stay at the hostel! We however missed soap in the bathroom (don't know if it should've been there?but it was great we had a bathroom/shower in the room!! ++),the internet computers weren't too good since they were very slow and freezed all the time. The big breakfast was ok for the small amount extra you had to pay, but would suggest eating out in Vienna instead if you have the budget. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice people!!! So definitely recommending this place!

It wasn't a fault of a hostel itself, but my Asian roommates made a bathroom every evening into a swimming pool. I think the hostel should provide some rules for behaviour in each room!

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is just a gem. And the downstairs bar for social is a good place to hangout and meet people. Overall, my 4-days stay is very enjoyable.

Hostel is just across the street from the westbahnhoff (west Station); very convenient and although its a bit of a walk you are not far from the old town center or the subway systems which are quite efficient and easy to follow. Rooms are large, and beds are comfortable. Showers are smaller but hot water and lots of pressure. Lockers provided that are linked to your room key. The bar is fun and cheap. Definitely recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in Vienna.
