It was really nice accommodation at really good and suitable place. We met really nice people from all around the world there so your hostel must be perfect if there was so crowded. So we all can say that we really enjoyed our time in hotel. Next time when we are in Vienna - only Wombat´s hostel.

Great bar and facilities. Wifi only available in lounge area not rooms Rooms are very nice. Great showers. Free pool tables in lounge. And pretty good bar specials. When we were there a laptop was stolen From a guest from the lounge. He left it unattended and some gypsy just walked In from the street and took it but when they checked the Camera and saw the Guy take it. It was clear he was avoiding the cameras and had probably done It before. The reception need to ask for cards upon entry

Owner Comment (Show)
Hey Tegan, thanx for your feedback! I'm sorry that you also had a negative experience in our hostel. Our receptionists are checking people who enter the building on a regular basis for cards, but we can not check everyone as we have 240 guests staying with us every nights ! Unfortunately people can sneak in when there's a group check in and the receptionists are busy - we're really trying our best to avoid such unpleasant experiences! Hope you're coming back one day :) All the best

The staff is great, from the reception, cleaning person and especially Julia from the bar!

The lockers can be opened by anyone in the room and no internet in the rooms. That part I didn t like. All the rest was good :)

Excellent hostel!

Great hostel for getting around to the sites because it's around the corner from Westbanhof, a major hub for all the tram and metro lines. Much cleaner than the Wombat in Budapest, but the ensuite bathrooms weren't cleaned well enough. It's my third time in a Wombat for good reason, they meet expectations for cleanliness, security, and helpfulness.

I was traveling alone and this was a GREAT place to meet people. Also, it was very secure: you have to swipe your key card to enter your hall way, and then again to enter your room. There was also lockers that locked electronically with your key card. AND each bed in the dorm had a bed side light and outlet. Very clean, very well planned out. And the bar downstairs has cheap drinks and is busy every night. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

The hostel was very clean and felt quite safe. It was quite close to the train station and with the trams and metros it was quite easy to get around. The atmosphere in the lounge areas and the kitchen were quite good, making it easy to chat to other travelers whilst cooking or just chilling out.

A little out of the touristy area with great transport links, it is a minute walk to the westbahnof train station. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Best hostel I've been so far! Clean, close to subway, nice staff, great Wombar. The "All you can eat" breakfast totally worth the price! Excellent atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone :)

The staff was great and deserves to be recognized! A woman with short blond hair and a guy with long crazy hair were very helpful and super friendly! Awesome bar to hang out in too!

A very solid hostel. True to the 'hostel experience' offering clean accomodations, a bit of character (with a young vibe) and good value. Excellent location (very close to the main train station and metro/subway). Perfect base camp for exploring Vienna.

The room was very smelly and the bathroom was dirty. The main lobby area and bar was nice. I did not like that you had to pay for wifi. Wifi should be free at hostels.

I hope that the self-catering kitchen can post more striking prompt language, consciously remind people to clean utensils they used , and put them back in place.
