Directions to Wombats City Hostel Vienna - at the Naschmarkt

From Westbahnhof:
Follow the signs to underground U3/U6. Take the U6 (direction Siebenhirten) to 'Laengenfeldgasse' and change to U4 (direction Heiligenstadt). Then get off at 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Take exit 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Cross Kettenbrueckengasse and Rechte Wienzeile. Turn left and walk the last 100 meters to Wombats City Hostel Vienna at 'The Naschmarkt' (next to Hofer supermarket).
Travel time approximately 12 minutes.


From Hauptbahnhof:
Walk to U1 'Suedtiroler Platz' (5 minutes) and take the metro U1 (direction Leopoldau) and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. Change to U4 (direction Huetteldorf) and get off at 'Kettenbrueckengasse'.
Take exit 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Cross Kettenbrueckengasse and Rechte Wienzeile. Turn left and walk the last 100 meters to Wombats City Hostel Vienna at 'The Naschmarkt' (next to Hofer supermarket).

From Wien Meidling (Temporary replacement station for Suedbahnhof until 2012):
Take the U6 direction Floridsdorf to 'Laengenfeldgasse'. From here, take the U4 (direction Heiligenstadt) and get off at 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Take exit 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Cross Kettenbrueckengasse and Rechte Wienzeile. Turn left and walk the last 100 meters to Wombats City Hostel Vienna at 'The Naschmarkt' (next to Hofer supermarket).

From Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof:
Take tram number 5 one stop to 'Friedensbruecke'. Change to metro U4 (direction Huetteldorf) to Kettenbrueckengasse. Take exit 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Cross Kettenbrueckengasse and Rechte Wienzeile. Turn left and walk the last 100 meters to Wombats City Hostel Vienna at 'The Naschmarkt' (next to Hofer supermarket).
Travel time approximately 20 minutes.

From the airport:
The quickest option is to take the shuttle bus to 'Schwedenplatz' (8,00euros). The cheapest option is to take the S-Bahn to 'Wien Mitte' (4,00euros). From 'Schwedenplatz' and 'Wien Mitte' you can take the U4 direction Huetteldorf to 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Take exit 'Kettenbrueckengasse'. Cross Kettenbrueckengasse and Rechte Wienzeile. Turn left and walk the last 100 meters to Wombats City Hostel Vienna at 'The Naschmarkt' (next to Hofer supermarket).
Travel time approximately 40 minutes.

The 'City Airport Train' (CAT) to 'Wien Mitte' is a little faster than the S-Bahn but costs 12 euros. The CAT-Ticket is not valid for the underground.
