Great hostel right near the Central train station and just a 10 min stroll into the main city square. Great vibe in the bar downstairs. Also a nice area with lounges and TVs and a glass roof to hang out in. I was traveling alone but met loads of cool people staying here.

I stayed at different hostels during my Eurotip and Wombat's was definitely the best hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar was a HUGE plus. My group made so many friends at the bar that we plan on staying in contact with. I stayed in a 10 bedroom, mixed dorm and I think that was too many people for my liking since people have to freedom to come and go as they please. I wish the bathrooms had been larger for the larger rooms. I ended up showering on another floor.

This was my first time traveling overseas and staying in a hostel, I was anxious at first. But when I arrived to Wombats the colorful environment and super nice staff made me feel at home almost immediately. During my stay they helped me with laundry, buying stamps, getting my luggage when it arrive late from the airline, etc. The atrium is also AMAZING. Its super easy to meet friends while surfing the net. The next night I stayed at the Euro Youth hostel and it was disappointing after Wombats.

I had a great time at this hostel. Met a lot of great people and had so much fun! The rooms are spacious! the only problem was that wifi was only in the lobby.

This was a nice hostel in a good location. The Wifi was reliable and the security lockers were big. The staff were kind of friendly... but didn't go out of their way for their customers.

Had a room with front street access. As there is no smoking inside, the smokers stand out the front door blocking it up to have a gasper & at night forget that it is no drinking out there. If my room wasn't above this while I was trying to sleep I wouldn't have noticed. I should have considered a smaller non party type of place as I wasn't there for the drinking. Location & staff were perfect though, thanks.

Very enjoyable stay at the Munich wombats hostel, great location and very impressed with the decor and facilities. Surprisingly quiet at night for a hostel full of young people, as a group of 30 somethings with one 50 something I expected to be kept awake but apparently we where the noisiest group?? Slightly disappointed that only one of the lockers in our room (314) was available. Great value breakfast!
