Great place to stay. The only issue was that our original booking changed which didn't bother us too much but could have for other people quite a bit. Also she didnt take off the deposit from Hostel world which I didnt fight for because we paid less than expected due to the change

Good B&B with extremely friendly owner and a great breakfast. The hostel is quiet far from the next town, which is not a problem if you have a car and don't want to go for a view pints in the pub.

We enjoyed our stay in the Woodlands very much and we can recommend your B and B! Thank you so much, Mary! Familiy Graber from Switzerland

We very much enjoyed our stay and did all we wanted to do locally within the time we had. Very genuine and helpful people who gave us many useful tips - and helped when we had a puncture and no car jack to hand! Nicely a little off the beaten track but easy to find with the instructions we had (you need your own transport - car or bike). Brilliant late night music session at local pub on our first night.

A very warm welcome ( we elected Mary "the nicest person " we met during our stay ) a lovely bedroom and delicious breakfast in a quiet farm and lovely surroundings for walks. Please send our love, from veronique and Raphael !

Great location between the Cliffs of Moer and Galway. Woodlands was the most pleasant B&B in Ireland sofar. Thanks to the owner Mary it felt like visiting a family member. I mean it.

Not one fault in the establishment. When looking for it, don't give up keep driving until you find the cross road. Stay a long time, it is lovely.

A very peacefull sleep is what you will get here, a comfortable little guesthouse about 35 minutes drive from Galway and a short drive from a pretty cool castle. Mary is brilliant!

Amazing breakfast every morning and Mary was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who does not mind the 25 min drive to Galway city. Loved our stay there

Nice stay, very good breakfast. Very cold nights in October. Hard to find in the middle of the nigth. :-)

Woodlands is a small family home. There are maybe 3 guestrooms and the owners live in the one-story home. The proprieter is a lovely Irish woman who is friendly and helpful. When we were there she was giving a lift into town to two guests who did not have a car. We liked the family type atmosphere. The home is located about a 12 minute ride from Kinvarra, in a beautiful area surrounded by farms and fields.

You must have a car to get to this place. The family was really nice, but there wasn\'t really anything to do there.

Typical country house. Location is OK if you have your own transport. Nearest pubs are in Gort, 10 minutes drive.

The warm welcome and the most nice family made this stay one of the highlights of our trip. Excellent food in excellent surroundings added the receipt for an excellent stay.

One Word: Perfect

Mrs Mary Spellman is a very nice person, very hospitable. There is no noise around the house, you can sleep very well all the night.

A friendly and nice B&B in the middle of countryside. The location is good if you like peace and quietness, but it is far from any activities. The bathroom was shared even though it was marked private in the booking.

I recommend this B&B!!

Need to add directions from Gort, only directions were from Kinvarra so we had to backtrack quite a bit to follow them as this B&B is in the middle of the countryside. Difficult to find in the dark, suggest daytime arrival. Very nice owner & great breakfast. Lovely Irish hospitality but does need to repair shower head. Only about 10 sprays of water coming through on the head making it very bad shower experience. Room also very cold. Beds & pillows & comforters were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
