Very friendly welcoming staff and a perfect location

The hostel was very clean, in a perfect location. We had a very pleasant stay

It is my second time in Istanbul and in this hostel. Staff is amazing. Very friendly and will do their best to accommodate you and give you infos about the city f you ask. The location is fantastic close to galata tower and istiklar caddesi.

The hostel is in a good location. We were upgraded to a loft which was very nice. Breakfast is tasty, typical Turkish style.

I've been in several others hostel around europe and I can say that World House Istanbul is one of the best. I will definetively recommend this hostel to everybody. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed and tha staff is always nice and ready to help you. Moreover it's really clean, especially the bathrooms. To conclude it's situated in the district of Beyuoglu, that is full of restaurants and places were to eat and drink in the night. I really liked staying in World House Istanbul!

Staff was very friendly, and they had lockers in each room and in some of the hall ways which is great. Hostel is situated in central Beyoglu, close to the famous Istiklal promenade which is party central. My only complain is that they didn't have a posting board for fellow travelers to connect. I was traveling on my own and was hoping to meet and hangout with other travelers but it wasn't that easy in this hostel. Other than that, I recommend this hostel for sure.

No heating in december...

I enjoyed my stay very much. that was fun:)) the hostel was clean, people were friendly and they have nice breakfast:) the only problem is about the lack of wifi in the rooms which is inconvenient. Yet, I would definetely recommend it to istanbul goers/ lovers thanks:)

The hostel is definitely a good place to go for everyone who wants to be in the centre of Istanbul and doesn't have toooo high requirements in terms of luxury. The breakfast is better than the average-hostel-breakfast and the staff is at your service.

This was a great hostel! We stayed here for three nights, and it was in the perfect location to see all the great sights of Istanbul. The showers could use some work, but other than that the stay was flawless.

Clean and well run. Not much character though.

Hands down, this hostel has the best location in Istanbul. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, the atmosphere is fun and laid back, and you get a free delicious breakfast to boot. If you're planning to visit Istanbul, I definitely recommend staying at the World House.

Very friendly and helpful staff!

When I arrived, my room was still used as a luggage room & was very dirty. The guy at reception told me he is not in charge of cleaning up & I could leave the premises if I would like to – at midnight! The hostel in not great either (basic rooms, no lockers …) but what me made really angry was a mail by the hostel urging me to rate it 100% - that would make the whole customer rating system irrelevant! I really think one should boycott hostels that try to cheat up their way in the ratings!

I like the place and It's not the first time that I choose the nice and welcoming atmosphere of Worldhouse. Hope to come again next year.
