Good location and friendly and helpfull staff. The only bad thing is that guests are not allowed to use kitchen, but they prepare breakfast and lunch for cheap prices.

The place was great. Super location. Great staff. Did a bar crawl with Deniz which was a lot of fun.

It's better to get to the hostel by the new subway line they opened. It only cost 8 TL and you need to make one switch. Exıt at the sıshane station and take the istıkal exıt (3 escalators up)

Great location - near Galata Tower and Istaklal, and walking distance from Hagia Sophia. I used their taxi service arrangement from the airport, worked as advertised. Decent coffee ship right in the building. Breakfast was acceptable

Loved it here! The staff was nice and helpful, the beds were comfy, and we even had a balcony in our room with a great view. Location is perfect for seeing the city on foot, and there are lots of great restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. I would definitely go back!

Had a fantastic stay at World House Hostel - super friendly staff, nice rooms, clean bathrooms. There's a great cafe downstairs and comfy sofas, and the location is great, right in the centre of modern Istanbul and near some fantastic nightlife. Thanks for a great stay!

Best stay ever! Perfect location! Great staff, specially Deniz, always funny and helpful, specially with his pub-crawl event! On a serious note we had some back and forward changes going on with our booking and he managed it very professional without any hesitation and problems!!! Breakfast and Internet are included. And they kept it as clean as you can keep a hostel clean! It is definitely the Hostel to stay when visiting Istanbul!

Overall lower than expectations. Wifi had poor reception and was mainly only available on the first floor. Room was moderately clean and comfortable, but outside was quite noisy. Major downfall was only one bathroom per floor, so mornings could take a while.

Welcoming people and cheap prices. I had trouble receiving a concert ticket that I already booked, the manager of the hostel spent 15min on the phone with Biletix so that I could obtain it. And it worked!

Staying at the World House is the best option for any traveller who wants to experience Istanbul at its best:excellent location, clean rooms, really friendly and helpful stuff (especially Deniz, smart and funny guy) and a yummy breakfast, good to start the day! What more to ask!

Great location! Right next to Galata tower and plenty of food, stores, etc. Pretty easy walk to get to public transit. Secruity consisted keycodes to get into dorm section and then a code to get into the room. Other than that anyone can walk in. Front door is closed at night, but will be opened by someone if coming in late. Bathrooms were adequate. Not as clean as they claimed. Wifi was decent at times. You would always see someone hanging out underneath the router though. Staff was just fine.

I enjoyed my stay at World House. The hostel is in a great location, walking distance to many of Istanbul's sights and lots of great bars and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. Deniz and the staff were friendly and always happy to help out. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, although it doesn't start till 9:00am. The WiFi only worked in the common areas and was slow at times.

Great stay at World House Istanbul! Close by to the tram station to most of the key attractions in the city. Deniz at the reception was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the stay, so much that I decided to book an extra night. Breakfast provided is simple but authentic Turkish fare, great way to start the day.

Hostel is located in a great area, close to a variety of cafes and quirky shops. Security is mediocre, it was key code access and we felt as though too many knew our room access code. The staff were fairly helpful, but not the most accommodating at times. Overall mediocre experience.
