The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time to Istanbul and they made you feel at home and the breakfast was delicious. The linens and towels were very clean. The location of the hostel was perfect for walking to many attractions and historical spots.

I will definitely go back to this hostel the next time I visit Istanbul. The atmosphere was really good and the staff very friendly. I especially liked the relaxed - rock mood in the living room! One thing that needs to be improved is organization in terms of check in and outs. When visitors changed rooms the staff was not always able to follow this moving, and in the end there were problems with the check outs. They were resolved of course, but this is sth to be improved!

good location, good stuff, room good for a hostel, and the breakfast was really nice! perhaps too add: it's next to a mosque, so you will be waken up at 5am with loud coram broadcasting :)

The hostel is in a great location and beds are comfortable. They didn't Have enough towels for guests and after much talking they eventually gave us hand towels to use. Over our 4 night Stay they overbooked our Room Twice which though It Didn't bother me, left several other guests very Disgruntled!

Excellent staff and atmosphere. Just besides the Galata Tower, so the neighborhood has a lot to offer.

Great hostel. A bit loud at night downstairs, but this is Istanbul and the atmosphere is positive. Very secure - there is a keypad lock to both the dorm area and to your specific dorm room. Not a bad walk from Taksim and a good location between Beyoglu and the Golden Horn, right next to the Galata Tower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their english is great! They are also happy to speak Turkish with you if you are learning. VERY CLEAN. GOOD value. Great breakfast/kitchen crew!

The hostel is big. My room was on the third floor. The room was big, and everything was clean. It's right by galata tower, and taksim and sultanhamet takes 25min walk. The facilities were ok, but clean. Bathrooms are tiny, and cafeteria and common area were not so big for the number of guests. The staffs were kind and helpful. There is no outdoor area though. But the most amazing thing is the turkish style breakfast! You get a buffet of cheese, olives, cucumber, tomato, bread, tea, jam, coffee.

Best hostel I have ever been to! For the money you pay you usually expect something more dirty or shabby. Clean sanitary and good atmosphere. For the breakfast you could add a pot of nutella (dutch people like this on their bread). Friendly staff and good help with recommendations etc. Thank you!

We stayed in the World House Instanbul hostel for 3 nights. The first two nights we stayed in a room and they asked us to move in another room for the third night. The first room was perfectly cleaned and in my opinion everything was fine! But the second room was not cleaned at all. The sheets were cleaned, but we found some things left from other people and even the toilet was not flushed. My final opinon on the hostel is not that good. They didn't put enough attention on the cleanliness.

We stayed in this hostel for a few days in march. We really loved it, good quality-price, good food, really kind staff, we could ask for a cleaner to come when we needed, perfect location. For a hostel, it was pretty quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay there !
