World Square Hostel Reviews

It is my second time here and the place has changed completely. The renovations look real good. Clean, fresh, free wifi and well located. Staff are always nice and helpful. World square hostel is definately the best value for money in the city centre.

Very good hostel in the middle of the city. Bright, Clean, Friendly staff with a free wifi. The bar down stairs has a $3 dollars drinks and hot bar attenders. This is an awesome place to stay. Thanks everyone!

Amazing place to stay! The bartenders in the bar downstairs made the stay worth while, but the hostel staff were also incredibly helpful and fun to be around! Great environment and location! Would definitely recommend World Square and i will be back very soon.

Great hostel, very convenient central location and extremely friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were bright and clean and good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend World Square to a friend.

GREAT staff, central located , freshly painted and free wifi.

Lacks a consistent. clean lounge room, any social activities and a lot of noise from the downstairs bar and nearby live music venues, even on weekday nights!

One of the better hostels I have stayed in. However the key card entry didn't work at 3am when we tried to come in after a long night out. The room was large and the bathroom and kitchen were excellent. I love the common room aswell.

Its an average place to stay. Free wifi is good but the place smell spilled beer feels like they dont clean the beer from the bar under.

Very nice staff, really helpful and kind. But not really clean for the common parts. There's a bar and it's smelling beer everywhere and the floor is stinky.

Cockroach in the kitchen wasen't the best of things to find. Rooms were of decent size though. Facilities could be upgraded especially in the toilets and showers. Also on weekend when the club is on below, the security staff could be a bit more friendly to the hostel guests instead of acting the hard men all the time.

Overall I thought it was really dirty. The kitchen was infested with huge cockroaches, the carpet always felt damp, and the main room smelled terrible. Also I thought the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and having the loud night clubs underneath didn't make for the best sleeping arrangements. I also was unaware of nightly activities, maybe those should be posted more prominently in the main room.

Couldn't have really asked for much more. Perfect location in central Sydney, close to transport and shops. Free wifi and the staff were so helpful with information on the city. Even organised some pretty great nights out. spot on really.

WHAT A PLACE! good location, great staff, $3 dollars bar downstairs, good chillax area plus free WIFI can't go wrong. I will be back for sure. Thanks guys for a great stay in Sydney!!!!
