Perfect location, abit smelly and messy but that was due to the people staying in the dorm. it's your basic average hostel it has dirty floors/walls and the decoration is poor and not many plug sockets but the bed was comfy and sheets were clean and can't get a better location for the price. I'd stay there again because of that. Also great to meet people as most people drink downstairs at the nightclub on weekends!

Enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi!! Good common room area.

Quite dirty, found cockroaches all over my stuff and in my shoes. Staff is not very helpful and untrained. Key card didn't work all the time. No hot/warm water in the female showers. Most annoying thing for me: I wasn't informed at check in that on the weekend the common area is turned into a nightclub, I was staying on floor 4 and the walls and floor were vibrating all night long. Very unpleasant noise, ended up having to sleep at all. Not gonna stay there again.

All Good !

Negative: The reception area becomes a night club during weekends. The kitchen and reception area are not very clean. Wifi is limited to reception area (and on weekends impossible to use it with the party going on) and is very weak. Positive: location is super good and the hostel is supersafe

Good one night stay over. Close to pubs & maccas etc. Clean & tidy room, big lockers under bunk beds, not noisy (wed night), friendly staff, $3 & $4 drinks!! Great location. Only downside was the ladies bathroom on level 5 I think we were, it was very smelly but still pretty clean. I didn't end up showering at these facilities. The smell put me off. Otherwise great place to crash!! Comfy beds.

Stayed here in 4 beds in a room 2 weeks ago. Bed were comfy, the cleanliness were good but no fan nor heater. I was extremely cold and had a flu because it was winter. toilet is limited, only 2 bathroom, for both gender each. kitchen were messed and dirty. when it comes to night, reception counter changing to become a loudly bar and I can hear the bass

Fantastic location near the free tourist bus and china town and a grocery store. Carpet floor in the room was soft, but had weird stains. Common Kitchen was dirty, women's bathroom had a weird shower where the window didn't close. Common checkin area had good wifi, good power outlets, and a good map of town.

The location is great. The interior is clean. Every night there will be two security guards at the main entrance to check everybody's ID because down stair of the hostel is a bar. To enter your room you have to use your room card twice at every floor. So basically you don't have to worry about the security. BUT, the signal of WIFI is very unstable, the hot water is so few that makes you feel you will freeze to death during taking a bath in winter. Hope they could improve it soon.

Excellent location on George St, very close to both Town Hall and Museum stations. Secure hostel, key card required to access each floor and lockers underneath each bed. Not many bathroom/toilets per floor, but then again I never had to queue either. Bathrooms appear quite dated and showers dont get very warm. Some noise from the bar downstairs on a Saturday night but not enough to be disturbing.

Pretty place and for a 18 beds room it's quiet. There is a bar just downstairs with a very low price ! Nice if you want to stay a couple of nights and be in the center. Very helpfully staff

free wifi. Great location. Central in CBD. Good value. Big dorm and calm. ~~~~ one kitchen for all. Few shower but never a queue. Bar 1st floor, lots of people. But safe. Would go there again.

Good location, but noisy at night due to traffic

+ Location is excellent, very central. Beds were comfy enough. - Stayed in the 18 bed dorm, my bed had no locker. No towel given. Wifi didn't work in the dorm room, and barely worked (on/off/on/off) in the common room. Light didn't work in the dorm room for all my 3 days, so sunset at 5pm = darkness. Common room is turned into a club about 8pm, so you're awkwardly expected to leave. When your room's dark and there's no wifi, it felt like i was treated like cattle. Left early, no refunds.

great location, friendly staff, stable free wifi, dity kitchen, room on 5th floor is clean with nice street view, although it is a bar hostel but it is still acceptable on 5th floor room.

I had a great stay at world square, everyone i met there was really friendly and the staff were very helpful. Facilities were clean and bed was comfy. Having the bar below was great fun and was really cheap. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
