Good one night stay over. Close to pubs & maccas etc. Clean & tidy room, big lockers under bunk beds, not noisy (wed night), friendly staff, $3 & $4 drinks!! Great location. Only downside was the ladies bathroom on level 5 I think we were, it was very smelly but still pretty clean. I didn't end up showering at these facilities. The smell put me off. Otherwise great place to crash!! Comfy beds.

Stayed here in 4 beds in a room 2 weeks ago. Bed were comfy, the cleanliness were good but no fan nor heater. I was extremely cold and had a flu because it was winter. toilet is limited, only 2 bathroom, for both gender each. kitchen were messed and dirty. when it comes to night, reception counter changing to become a loudly bar and I can hear the bass

Fantastic location near the free tourist bus and china town and a grocery store. Carpet floor in the room was soft, but had weird stains. Common Kitchen was dirty, women's bathroom had a weird shower where the window didn't close. Common checkin area had good wifi, good power outlets, and a good map of town.

The location is great. The interior is clean. Every night there will be two security guards at the main entrance to check everybody's ID because down stair of the hostel is a bar. To enter your room you have to use your room card twice at every floor. So basically you don't have to worry about the security. BUT, the signal of WIFI is very unstable, the hot water is so few that makes you feel you will freeze to death during taking a bath in winter. Hope they could improve it soon.

Excellent location on George St, very close to both Town Hall and Museum stations. Secure hostel, key card required to access each floor and lockers underneath each bed. Not many bathroom/toilets per floor, but then again I never had to queue either. Bathrooms appear quite dated and showers dont get very warm. Some noise from the bar downstairs on a Saturday night but not enough to be disturbing.

Pretty place and for a 18 beds room it's quiet. There is a bar just downstairs with a very low price ! Nice if you want to stay a couple of nights and be in the center. Very helpfully staff

free wifi. Great location. Central in CBD. Good value. Big dorm and calm. ~~~~ one kitchen for all. Few shower but never a queue. Bar 1st floor, lots of people. But safe. Would go there again.

Good location, but noisy at night due to traffic

+ Location is excellent, very central. Beds were comfy enough. - Stayed in the 18 bed dorm, my bed had no locker. No towel given. Wifi didn't work in the dorm room, and barely worked (on/off/on/off) in the common room. Light didn't work in the dorm room for all my 3 days, so sunset at 5pm = darkness. Common room is turned into a club about 8pm, so you're awkwardly expected to leave. When your room's dark and there's no wifi, it felt like i was treated like cattle. Left early, no refunds.

I had a great stay at world square, everyone i met there was really friendly and the staff were very helpful. Facilities were clean and bed was comfy. Having the bar below was great fun and was really cheap. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

I am a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the kitchen. The carpet in the room is not vacuum and smells moldy.

Good place to meet people; central location; clean rooms. Nothing to complain about, really - just bring earplugs, as some of the rooms receive street noise in a bad way.

Very nice friendly young staff who were very helpful. Facilities adequate, Cleaning lady was fantastic and friendly. Did a good job with what she had to work with. Noise level from street unavoidable but management could keep bar noise to a more acceptable level in the interests of paying guests rather than look after punters enjoying cheap drinks till the wee hours. Overall tho better than I first thought after the first night. Out late most nights and slept ok during mornings.

4 bed share on the streetside, very loud, no aircon, window has to be open to get a little bit of air, but than too much noise. No fan and only 1 powerpoint with a powerboard, next to another sleeping peron. Showers big, toilet clean, bar noise couldn't be heard in the room on level 5.

Very nice hostel in Sydney CBD, very comfy 6 beds dorm, clean shared bathroom with even the little detail (for the ladies) hair dryer and straightener. Free wifi which is not the case in other backpacker in Sydney. The only hic was the noise, if your room is on the street side of it, you'll have an epic night :( of only they'd invest in new Windows that'll be perfect

I was sitting on my bed when I saw a huge COCKROACH on my bag. Trying to get in. 5 minutes later, I was shocked to notice that there was an even bigger one on my pillow, and walking around my bed. When I got down to reception to ask for repellant, no one was at the desk. I waited for 10 minutes, still no one came (funny they said reception open 24h...) When you eat in the kitchen, there are loads of insects on the walls. The bottom of the fridges are disgusting. Incredibly disappointing.
