Unfortunately you dont have a room where you can sit together with other people in the evening so its really difficult to know the other travellers. Its really loud in the night but thats the price when you want to stay in the central of Sydney. Beds are good but the kitchen isnt really nice.

You have a bathtub! I liked it very much staying there. Nice people and nice dorms. The wi-fi didn't always work though which was a minus, but otherwise it was good! I liked the small things such as straightener and hairdryer already was there in the bathroom, and the cheap drinks in the bar.

I enyoyed a promotion the first day, then I am still staying there! Location is very good, rooms are fine, and internet is free. Atmosphere is good too, parties are organised every friday and saturday on second floor. A bar is always open on first floor, with very cheap drinks. However the kitchen is poor and can be very dirty...

This hostel is located right in the middle of Sydney which is great. The staff was nice and the facilities are good. Also free wifi which was useful. Only minus was that there was quite some noise from the street at night and my mattress was pretty uncomfortable. Also, the address is confusing as the entrance is the same as the nightclub downstairs. For the rest it was ok. :)

You can't do nothing wrong booking World Square Hostel. Very good location, very nice and helpful staff, awesome people and 3$ drinks at bar century directly under the Hostel (which is very cheap for Sydney). All in all I would definitely recommend World Square Hostel for everybody who likes to spend a good time in Sydney :)

My friend and I had a really good stay here! Everyone was very friendly, the hostel was within walking distance to pretty much all the sites in the city, as well as, a giant shopping centre across the street. They free wifi which helped us plan each day before going out and staff helped answer a lot of questions about Sydney attractions and transport. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms/bathrooms were Clean! which you don't get some places. We hope to stay here again when we're back!

It's alright for a night, but I wouldn't recommend staying there for too long.

The best bit about this hostel is the location, the wifi was really bad. I had to walk down four flights of stairs as the lift was out to try and get wifi and even then it kept cutting out. There is a good cheap bar/club in the hostel however people then seem to wander around the hostel. Staff was friendly and when i did have problems they tried their best to help.

I wish I hadn't had to carry my heavy bags up five flights of stairs (the elevator is still out of service) but otherwise really enjoyed my stay, the staff was wonderful and the location ideal for just about everything.

The best thing about this hostel is the free wifi, the location and the helpful staff. The worst is how unsociable the hostel is, we were here for a week and didnt really meet anyone, a lot are just lone travellers coming for a night or two. The bedrooms and kitchen could really do with some aircon, they are too warm and also our room wasn't hoovered in the 8 days we were there. The lift was broken (100 stairs to get to our room), the ovens out of order and 1 of 2 showers on our floor broken!

For an Aussie hostel this place wasn't half bad! I was just travelling interstate and found this perfect between a few mates and I. Easy going staff, generally nice feel. Elevator didn't work... But that's life? No real complaints.
