Good hostel, comfy beds. Keep in mind that it doubles as a club on Fri, Sat nights so there's a lot of loud music when u try to sleep.

Fantastic atmosphere, people there are like a family, a lot of fun and right in the city centre!

The facilities are very basic, especially for the number of people staying at the hostel. Due to it's location [above a bar!!] it's VERY noisy throughout the week, and there is also the general noise from living in such a bustling city; but with no air-con it's impossible to avoid it as the windows were fully open all the time to allow air in. We also had to change rooms during our 4 night stay which was frustrating. Good location though.

great hostel with a great location, right in the centre of town with coles right across the street, something which other hostels do not have. one bad thing is no air con or fans in the room so it gets pretty toasty in there at night. atmosphere in the common room is a bit dull due to free wifi and everyone stuck in their phones, guess that can't be helped

The beds were nice and the rooms were nice. Our dorm door lock wasn't working and I think they were lacking in toilets. There were no cubicle doors in the communal toilets downstairs. The communal area smelt like beer as it turns into a club on Saturdays and Fridays. It was nice and quiet in the week tho and the showers were clean. Lacking on the wifi it's kinda rubbish but would stay here again for the price and location.

Got no sleep here as the bar plays loud music every weekend, door to our room didn't lock. Fire alarm went off at 4am so got no sleep at all, beds ok but was in a room with a couple of long term people and they had taken over.

We stayed in this hostel for two nights there were cockroaches in the kitchen no fans in the bedroom was boiling everywhere no air con either! The bunk beds were right next to a window that you could easily fall out of and there was no atmosphere in the hostel. We would not stay here again!

Great location, close walking distance to Darling Harbor. Stayed in all girls dorm and had a corner room with a great view. Was there during Christmas holiday so was fairly loud noise from street as expected. Fun hostel to stay at though. They turned the lobby into a club one of the nights I was there and noise wasn't bad but the floors and stairs were SO sticky the next day I thought I was gonna break a flip flop. WiFi only worked in the lobby not in the room.

It's a decent hostel, but i was on the 18 person dorm on the 3rd floor and the music from the bar in George St was so loud I could not go to sleep until 2 in the morning, and I had to get up early the next day to catch my flight. So probably a good hostel if you'd like to party, but not if you want a good night's sleep.

I am really satisfied with the Hostel and would definitely recommend it and book again, but dismerits were bad wifi connection (just close to the reception which is in another floor than the rooms and kitchen) and it was not very clean in the kitchen and the kitchen equipment very limited (i.e. tea towels). But definitely worth for the money!

I was in the 18 beds room. Some throw up during the night so you need to be prepared. Overall ok!

Very well located hostel with helpful staff. The only bad thing is that Internet is only available on the lobby. Very good price for the location.

Location wise, it was awesome being right in the heart of the city, but it's also due to that that it can get quite noisy with the traffic and drunk people creating ruckus on the streets at night, also from the bar at Level 1. Other than that, I have nothing else to complain. For the price and location in Sydney, it's a really good deal. The staff were all really friendly too. Good job, World Square :)

I've had the worst night ever on a Friday evening trying to sleep with music so loud I couldn't even hear myself thinking. Also during the night the roommates were coming in drunk and screaming.

No sleep at all, loud music all night and nightclub in the hostel so not possible to use the facilities like wi-fi and reception after 9 pm.

Dirty, no air conditioning and above a live music venue that plays until 12am. No idea how this hostel got the score it did. Would not recommend
