I t's one of the best hostels I've ever been: very friendly and helpful staff, super-clean rooms. Unfortunately it's a bit off the beaten tracks in a dark, narrow road, hard to find. But it's worth, finding it! Read Owner Comments

I come to Hangzhou fairly often and this is where I stay when West Lake is full. It\'s a nice hostel with clean rooms and bathrooms. The lobby is a little damp and not many people hang out here but there is an outdoor garden/patio where people like to sit. The location is also inconvienent and difficult to find the first time. However if you are looking for a nice, quiet hostel to take a few days and put your feet up this is a good choice. The air-conditioners work really well :) Read Owner Comments

The staff need to become more familiar with the expectations and needs of Western travellers. Choices on the breakfast menu are limited and there seems to be no awareness that vegetarians exist. The staff do not purchase train tickets on behalf of guests leaving them to have to fend for themselves in a Chinese train station - a possibly harrowing experience. In addition, rules seem to be posted everywhere. The atmosphere was not as casual and relaxed as it should be in a hostel.

Great location, within walking distance of West Lake. Friendly and youthful English speaking staff- their English wasn't quite as good as other places we've stayed, but they were still able to answer our questions. Clean and new building.

This was such a great hostel. The staff was excellent, the rooms were bright and clean and the building and layout was really neat. The animals gave it a very 'homey' feel. It was really nice to get a quiet nights sleep in china. i am going to recommend this hostel to everyone.
