this hostel has potential, but maybe we were just there at the wrong time of year, it definitely did not have a party atmosphere, more of a hungover atmosphere! heating wasnt working, bathrooms were dirty and smelled. Although I do thank the staff for giving us access to the private rooms for hot showers. The heating didn't work either which was a bit of a let down. Although hostel in perfect location, close to old town, bars, shopping and metro.

Nice staff, lockers available, good location, it was worth it

The staff really make this place great. They will give tips, advice and even come out drinking with you after a few at the (on site) bar- we ended up singing karaoke with the staff at 2am!? The showers are the best (very hot, very powerful) I've had in a hostel. The laundry did take quite a while to complete, and I had to follow up and ask for it often, but this was due to a problem with the water heaters so I can understand the delay. There was no microwave in the kitchen. Rooms and toilets were not so clean either just like other parts of it. however thr location was excellent. You can walk anywhere in ten minutes. No one even mentioned the happy hour there either. Never had the chance to have some sleep there because of the noise.

Excellent time at the hostel. Even though it was the slow season (start of February), the staff organized some cool stuff for us to do, and made my time there great. I ended up meeting a lot of people and experienced a lot more of the local culture compared to most of the other hostels I've been to. The bar and cinema downstairs were good. Some of the nearby bars and clubs are the best I've been to. Good place to stay for sure.

Great hostel, great staff. Rooms are very nice, much better than I expected for the price. The bar/lounge is a great place to meet other travelers if you're alone.

The location of the hostel was very good. Not far from the Lipscani area, but in a quiet neighborhood. The value for money was good. I did have the impression that the floor of the room wasn't properly cleaned, there was a lot of dust under the beds. Too bad we didn't have a room key, but from what I understand, it broke just the day before and we stayed during the weekend... The jacuzzi and sauna were a great extra, and not very expensive. Definitely a good hostel to stay when in Bucharest.

The hostel is located nearby the old town of Bukarest, where most of the pubs and bars are. The stuff was friendly and helpful, but not very motivated to serve guests in the hostel pub. They mostly sit around and chill and you have to ask kindly for a drink or a breakfast. The drinks are cheap, but the food is not really good. We couldn't move in the room we actually booked, because the door lock was broken. So we got an alternative room, which smelled horrible and we couldn't close the window.

Good location and atmosphere with clean facilities. I used the suana daily. Poor security. I was robbed in the lounge, and even though the shift staff was very helpful, I was entirely stonewalled by management who refused to review the security tapes (if they were even on).

Its was all what you expect from a hostel. The hot tub and sauna facilities are a nice addition and the 24 is actually existent (not like in other hostels, where they advertise it but shut down at a certain point). If you are a group looking to party, then this is the place to stay! The hostel staff are very accommodating, some more than others, but a special thanks has to go to Flavia and Catalina who were superb during our stay! X Hostel never let them go, they are jewels!

my two nights at this hostel will forever be remembered. I had a great time in this hostel. Great facilities and comfy beds. Two of the girls from the staff are super nice and friendly. The skinny tall girl not so much. I found her to be a bit on an abrupt manner. Anyway, all in all X hostel is one of best hostels I’ve ever stayed.

The hostel was good value for money and in a good location, close to buses and underground. The staff at the hostel were helpful on arrival and with information about Bucharest. I would stay here again.

The best place to stay in Bucharest..great location, and the best staff, allways trying to help you! i definetly recomend this hostel..you will have a great time there!
