I decided not to stay here because I had a reservation for a private room with a private bath. The bath was down the hall and I don\\\'t see how it is any more private than any other. I expected an ensuite bathroom. The room was dirty looking and raggedy. Bedding showed alot of wear. The \\\"garden\\\" is a dirty roof that faces the street. The downstairs lobby is sleek and nice but the exterior and the private rooms like like a dump. It may be a great hostel situation but I decided it was gross.

We have stayed here a couple times, once upon our arrival into Guate City from the airport, and another time as a stop over on our way to catch a bus. The hostel is in a really good area, close to many restaurants, bars, and malls. It is also within walking distance to the university, so if you want to see one of the museums, it is close by. We definitely recommend staying here. The price is good for what you get - free pickup, wifi, breakfast, and hot showers!
