Great location, and the hostel dorms themselves are amongst the better ones I've stayed in. The beds are kind of like pods. quite roomy and private enough, with your own light. The only issue I had was that you don't get a room key, you had to go and see if you're room was locked and if so, go back down and get the staff to come back up and open it. It was quite annoying but overall a good hostel, I would definitely stay there again.

The hostel would have been pretty much perfect if it weren't for the rude, aggressive, horrible staff on the reception.

This is not a good hostel. The hostel itself is average but the staff are terrible - couldn't answer any questions and took ages to be served each time. Sometimes they weren't even at the reception and I had to go looking for them. If you're looking for a cheap hostel in LP and don't think you'll need much assistance then I guess it's ok, otherwise avoid. Shower heads also had nothing to hold them up, there were no lockers, no keys so doors were left open.

The staff were not helpful at all. Whenever someone had a problem they did not want to help. When asked to phone a bus company that had forgotten to pick us up, they said "our phone only receives calls, no outgoing calls possible." Also, there are NO security lockers at this hostel!! Awful. They tried to charge 20,000 kip per day to use the safe. This seems really unreasonable, as most hostels either provide lockers for free, or storage in the safe for free.

We had made a booking through hostel world and had to change the date to one day later. We called three times to do the rebooking and we made sure that they had understood names and the dates we would arrive and the staff said it was no problem. But at arrival they said that the booking was cancelled, that we had not called and that we should pay for last night. We said that we had called but they said that maybe some new staff had taken the call and that it was not their fault (!!!)

Best value for your money! The hostel is very cheap. There issue with keys as you need to ask a member of staff to come and open the dorm rooms for you and sometimes they are nowhere to find. Beds are big and comfy and no signs of bed bugs. No lockers and placing valuables to hostel safe cost money. Laundry service very expensive- look for cheap laundrettes down the road (7000-10000kip)

I stayed in the dorm room (capsule hotel), The bathrooms/showers are in the same room and they smelled awful most of the time. The staff doesn't speak much English, but for 4$ a night it's a pretty good deal. The outside common area was nice and a good way to meet people and they have free wifi but it wasn't always working.

It was a nice place till they found bed bugs in the dorm next door and ripped out the whole room at half 7 in the morning! Other than that, it was clean, cool, and cosy beds. They put a film on outside each nig which is a really nice way to meet other travellers.

I stayed here last week, and although I had a great time socializing there were many deficiencies. First of all the place is infested with bed bugs - it may not be all the rooms but in my room (3) it was awful and I left covered in bites. In regards to the staff: they are beyond incompetent. For such a lovely guesthouse, the guys up front can hardly handle simple tasks like checking someone in or knowing if there are laundry services. All questions are met with a confused look.

A brilliant hostel in a really good location. The beds are really comfortable and each dorm has 'pod' style bunks so it's like having a little room of your own. It is really clean and you get fresh towels each day. In the evenings in the communal area they show films on a portable screen...it is a great way to get socialising and meet other people.

The cleaning ladies, where changing sheets the second the people moved out, what ever hour that may be, and they where folding my underwear and organizing the things on my bed. i would prefer for it to be left my stuff alone. The place way great, i had a good time. i would recommend it.

this hostel pretended to not understand that hostelworld charges 10% of the price at the time of booking and we had to pay full price on arrival to keep the bed. the bed was in a dorm of 16 beds with inadequate ventilation and the room stank all day because of the stinky bathrooms-got very unbearble at nighttime and made sleep hard the reception staff were very rude and unhelpful and often left the desk unattended

Staff were quite apathetic and could have been friendlier. Other people reported bed bugs but I had no issue at all with this. Is it fairly basic hostel with a nice location on a side street. Rooms are always locked but these creates hassle for the staff as they are the only ones with keys, plus they charge around 2 dollars extra for 'secure' bag storage.

Cheapest dorms in town. The beds are big, comfortable and clean. Stayed there an extra 5 nights after booking for only 1. Make sure to book in advance, especially if you're arriving late in the day as the dorm beds fill up very quickly. Although described as a "capsule" I couldn't really tell the difference between that and a regular bunk bed except it has very helpful night lights lining the bunk. The staff can be somewhat frustrating to work with but mean well. Recommended.

I stayed here for quite a few days and I enjoyed the central location, the comfort of the beds and the affordable food but did not like the internet constantly dropping out, the lack of lockers -20,000K per item per day for use of the safe!(and the smell that sometimes came from the showers/toilets. The smell was sometimes overpowering and sometimes not theere at all. Simple soultion: buy some air fresheners! Overall, I would recommend it though.

The beds in the dorms were really nice and comfortable. The location was not bad either. However, the staff was generally unhelpful and did not speak much english. They also dont understand how booking through hostelworld works and wanted to charge me for %100 of my booking, instead of %90 of the total. Its cheaper if you just show up than the prices are online.
