Directions to YH Hostel Catania Ostello del Plebiscito

The Hostel Plebiscito is easy to get to from the port, airport or from the bus or train stations. Located in the historic centre, reaching us is simple thanks to the public transport and taxis readily available that stop right near the hostel.
Look below for the best way to get to us from where you arrive.

From the Airport (Catania Fontanarossa):
The Hostel Plebiscito is located 5km from the airport. The buses of the Urban Line AMT number 457 leave every 20 minutes and arrive at Piazza Borsellino (behind the Duomo of Catania). From here you can either take the bus number 503 that runs along the whole Via Plebiscito, getting off at the stop after the traffic lights, 50m from the hostel (Via Plebiscito 527).
If from Piazza Borsellino you prefer to walk, we are only 10 or 15 minutes away by foot. From Piazza Duomo walk along Via Vittorio Emanuelle until you reach Via Plebiscito (less than a kilometre).

From the train/bus station (Catania Centrale:
The hostel is only 3km from the central station of Catania, 30minutes by foot approximately walking the lenght of Via Vittorio Emanuelle.
You can also take the number 432ì1 bus (black, circolare destra) getting off at the intersection of Via Vittorio Emanuelle and Via Plebiscito. You'll find us about 50m away at Via Plebiscito 527.

By Car:
If you're coming by car we can offer you a street map of Catania with the major points of entry into the city. We suggest to follow the streetmaps of Catania central as there are many one way streets.

By Taxi:
The taxi will not cost more than €20 from the airport and €10 from the train/bus station.
