The hostel owners are super sweet people. I was robbed shortely before checking in and they helped me with everything and took care of me. Thank you very much. And great value for money!

The staff really makes this place-they were all awesome! Facilities were average, the bathrooms got kinda gross, but thats just because a bunch of dudes were using them. The location wasnt really a problem, its not that far away from the center. WIFI only worked well downstairs in common area. Free breakfast was pretty standard. The bunks were really nice: comfortable, with outlet and light, and privacy curtain. Bedroms were clean. They also have an awesome new restaurant in the common area.

Staffs are so friendly. I have to note about their extraordinary point: "Restaurant," 2 chefs come around 20 hour every night, and they offer very high-quality home made Italian dishes with reasonable price. Normally there are 3-4 different choices every day and hostel staffs explained me very kindly in English. I chose a shrimp pasta. It was so nice and delicately cooked with flavor of lemon and Italian parsley. Accompanied with home made pickles, bread and a drink--only 7 euros for all.

Was extremely dead when I stayed here. Other than that it was an alright place to stay. Rooms were clean and breakfast was included which was nice. People would smoke just outside the open door in the common room, which would make the whole room stink. Not very nice for non-smokers. Location was good though and it allowed you to access the city fairly easily. Would stay here again if ever back in Catania.

The staff were really cool, very friendly (especially the cleaning lady who was so bubbly). Marcello was awesome- he upgraded me no charge when I asked as a guy in my room was ill. Kitchen is big and good common area. Curtains around the beds are a great idea. The things I didn't like was that my bed light didn't work, limited power plugs, the internet was non existent in the rooms, very slow downstairs (but then was really fast the next day). They have long term residents there, not only backpackers

A young team runs the hostel and provides wonderfull services to all guests. Whenever Catania soccer team-match is in TV, the lobby is crowded and celebrates the match. Rooms offer enough space, a comfy bed, lockers, and the bathroom facilities are in a good condition. Breakfast contains Sicilian dishes: a bit sweet, a bit rough. Just WiFi-Connection doesn't work properly; slow, interrupted. Conclusion: Excellent value für the money and a nice experience. Recommended.
