Overall our stay was great excellent location great view from room of lake windermere, very clean room toilets etc, staff excellent and resturant great value and excellent food. The only downsides was that it was very noisy banging doors till at least 2am used ear plugs and toilets were extremely small and difficult to get into and out of. Overall really enjoyed our stay

Amazing time, right by the lake. Beautiful view. Breakfast wasn't the best, but everything else was perfect!

ambleside cancelled the booking at fairly short notice so i had to find alternative accommodation and i lost my deposit with hostel world the building was found to be unsafe
