Its grand... bed was good, the private rooms are nice to get. Bathrooms were nice. Everything was clean. Staff not great, they had no maps, and couldnt tell us anything about parking either, they dont know much about the area( if they do they dont like to share) Everything else good though. Its up a steep hill and its a fair walk to anywhere.

This place is like coming home for us. We've been here 4 times now. Clean, easy check in, great staff, no hassles. All the things you expect for a good hostel. Not a place to party through, good for sleeping and just relaxing!

I had a night check-in after a 40hour-travel and had to wait about 1 hour until they opened the door. at 10 am the next morning I was asked to leave although I booked for 2 nights. I have no idea why! I stayed another 3 nights and in this time everyone was nice and the rest of the stay was ok. U really have to take care about the night-check ins. what a nightmare!

bottom sheet wasn't clean, the floor hadn't been properly hoovered, otherwise fine.

Really bad hostel, bad location, horrible staff not helpful at all. 2 toilets on each floor that both men and women use so they're never in a good state. Very cold and the blankets are so small they don't even reach your feet! It's really away from all the good areas in the city, best staying in Nomads!

Impatient staff even though i was the only one at the counter enquiring information around the location in that area. very small room with not much space to move around or even for my luggage space(2 bed mixed dorm). the area was quite close to restaurant and super market but was terrible walk up the high slope toward the hostel. i was packed light but cant imagine if ppl with bigger luggage bag.

So nice to have the option of a twin share room - no bunks and not a whole heap of people...... I do have one beef..... I was on the first floor - the extractor / vent fans churned away all night - so so so noisy....... I can not see why such fans could not bo turned off after a certain hour. I know that the kitchen needs extractor vents - but surley cooking could cease at 10pm or there abouts. - just a thought

Nice place but very simple, there are better options for the same price. In the city center and close to everything, but recommend the YHA International (modern) which is on the same block.

the hostel was fairly nice with a large kitchen, but we were told there would be someone at the front desk 24 hours a day and when we came down at 4 am for help calling a cab to the airport, there was no one anywhwere and no one there to help. We were almost late and stressed out with no help very early.

A really nice hostel with really friendly staff, only not enough laundry facilities on this location

A bit of an eerie place, because the corridors are musty and have no fresh air whatsoever. Very little social activity when we were there, but that's not the hostel's fault. Common areas are excellent and definitely value for money. Nice staff too.

Given the number of people who stay there, number of Bath rooms and toilets per floor is too less.

I felt the staff were really helpful and friendly. I felt that the hostel had a positive vibe and a contrast from a previous hostel I stayed at. When I arrived I got a room upgrade which was a nice surprise.
