Not enough park space.Just chose the hostel cause of free parking

Close and clean and really quiet which can be good or bad depending on if you want to sleep or socialize. As a lone traveler I found the lounge being downstairs to be mostly empty and the kitchen with the air of a library.

Bathrooms were a mess, room didn't really get cleaned during the week I was there and the malfunctional keycards are past annoying!

Staff were really helpful. A few minor problems with the booking but was sorted out easily and actually got an upgrade which was perfect! Close to the main street but still quiet.

This YHA is lovely, sunny 4 bed rooms on the second floor, the staff is really helpfull and nice, bathroom are ok, we meet a lot of cool people. Really enjoy our journey :)

Good hostel as expected by YHA. Nice location just off Queen street in central Auckland. Decent facilities but quiet atmosphere.

The hostel was in a good location, just off of Queen Stree, but far enough away from the traffic and noise. The staff was really helpful setting up bus rides and tours.

The kitchen is huge, clean and well equipped, and the hostel in general is secure and well maintained. I would stay here again.

The kitchen is big and well implemented and the bathrooms are OK but the rooms are a bit small and dark. They shouldn't let the guests leave all their big backpacks and suitcases in the room: no space and the room was a total mess. Also, only 2 plugs in a room for 8 people?! Plus, on my 2nd night they called me to the reception and they wanted to charge me 5 nights again. I had alreay paid and they didn't believe me. The problem was solved the next day but no apologies for their mistake.

Was only there for 1 night, but the kitchen was awesome! what was not so good though were the beds. Really uncomfortable. My back really hurt!
