I needed to be at BKK airport quite early, so it did the job. That's basically it. Be careful of the taxi taking you to the airport in the morning. My driver refused to turn on the meter and wouldn't stop to allow me to take another taxi. He then tried to overcharge me when we reached the airport, because he knew that I needed to catch a flight and was pressed for time. Be careful, don't leave the hostel with a driver like this - the airport is very close and shouldn't cost very much at all.
The rooms and bedding weren't very clean. Hard to sleep as the planes are passing over head very often and the windows shake. Overpriced for what was provided. They call a taxi for you to get to the airport but its overpriced because the hostel takes a portion of it.
The staff were very rude and unresponsive! Asking them a simple question would result in them staring at you and giving you a one word answer, very strange! I asked to use the shower on the day of my departure and they looked at me like I had just asked if it was alright to walk around the hostel naked!
I stayed here for one night before my flight home and enjoyed it. The hostel staff explained where it was to the taxi driver (so on a meter journey is 70B - though I'm sure taxis will tell you different!). Menu was good and cheap alongside drinks and snacks. Taxi was ordered and was prompt. Staff were very helpful with helping out with a DVD! The room itself was very clean and you felt safe. Only downside was that my bathroom hasn't been cleaned and there was no toilet roll!!
this hotel is enough good for backpackers to spend one night close to the airport. this hotel is interesting especially if you have an earlier flight. to compare with others hotel closed to the airport you can find here a good value for money.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Great for a one night stay for an flight connection. Rooms kind of look like a jail cell but for one night, it was fine. Contrary to previous comments, the hotel is easy to find if you read the instructions.
I booked this hostel for a friend when she had 8 hours until her flight out of Bangkok airport. It was a good location and provided a taxi service but they would not let my friend and I back into her room to say goodbye and pick up items she was leaving behind for us. She paid a decent amount of money and they were extremely rude and would not let us back even for a short period of time. I would not stay here as the owner was rude and would not let us say goodbye to our friend.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The house is charming and has a fantastic balcony right across the river from the airport, so you can watch the planes come and go all day long. The location is a bit awkward. Even though it's close to the airport, you have to actually always use a taxi to go somewhere because the nearest public transit station is too far to walk to. Everyone who has had to deal with Bangkok taxis knows what that means. Great place for staying a night or two.
Not the nicest of places but serves its purpose for those in transit. Accommodates weird arrival and departure times, clean, but don't expect a soft bed!
This is a really good place to stay if you want somewhere close to the airport. The rooms are modestly decorated but have an authentic and elegant south-east asian aesthetic. There is a nice leafy porch/roof area that is nice to sit next to the river where you can watch the planes coming in, and the hostel is located in a gated community so it feels completely safe. Above all, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and there is free wi-fi and a good book collection.
