Old people living in hostels, They will interfere with other people's behavior。Do the elderly have room arranged together with the ordinary guests。

This hostel is super far from the downtown but really close to train station. no breakfast but you can cook for yourself in kitchen. the room is big and clean.

Clean and efficiently run. Rooms on small side but would only be a problem if you had a massive amount of luggage. The sink in the room is helpful. Large and well-provisioned kitchen, eating, and lounge areas. Very near train station and an easy walk into the city centre. Good value for Cambridge, but the price does seem a bit high for basic accommodation.

Absolutely shocking, should be condemned, filthy old place, no water filter, one very small fridge for 90had to eat out as kitchen not clean, staff were good apologising for the state of the place, floor in our room wet in a corner, it smelt of urine, i scrubbed the floor! I was in medical profession and know urine, hostel and other BnBs full so had to stay! The manager was useless, staff say she never was any good and will bring the same to the new hostel we wish a refund for false advertising

What irked me: £5 for WiFi, £2 to rent a locker Breakfast buffet (£5) was sub-par; everything was overcooked. No towels/hand dryers in any of the toilets I visited, and once there was no soap. They need 6hours to clean the rooms but you still need to strip the bed yourself. What I liked: Good location It was quiet ...and that's it.

The breakfast is nice, especially when they do pancakes!

The hostel is situated within walking distance from the train station, that makes it convenient to reach even by foot. But it's another 20min walk to town. The kitchen is well furnished and the lounge provided a good place to hang out.The shower facilities need a bit of revamp - shower head holder not working and the light goes on and off during shower. Like most hostels, YHA can consider providing fans in the room during summer. The tiny window doesn't provide much ventilation for a 6-pax room!

It is pity that you cannot find another hostel in Cambridge, so you can only live in here or other hotel. The shower room was so dirty and small, your foot will get dirty again after your shower. And you won't be able to get any Wi-Fi here except you pay for it. And they provided locker for you but you need to pay 2 pounds for every time you opened the locker door, it is not makes sense that they earn money from each facilities.

I was glad they placed all the non-youths in the same room. staff was super nice and fast. their check out rules are slightly annoying and no free wifi was a bit disappointing.

Had to pay for wifi.

No free wifi, staff did not introduce/recommend attractions

It was very easy to reach the hostel from the train station, but it was quite far to the city center (well about 15 minutes by foot). The problem of all YHA's: You have to pay for the WIFI and for breakfast. It was quite clean though.

It's the only hostel in town so I would stay there again but it's far from the best I have stayed in. Some staff were super helpful, but something I observed made me quite annoyed. A girl traveling from Korea wanted to put some cheese she had bought in the fridge for the day on checkout and the staff member told her the fridge was only for guests. That was just mean. I saw the fridge earlier and it was nearly empty. What a joke. The dorm rooms are also very hot and have poor ventilation.

Very good location, nice facilities. But rooms are a bit hot

Staff not friendly. Everything else just average. Not worth the price.

Very close to the train station

Generally a very good place, with friendly staff. While I was there the fridge wasn't working, but I was able to store some things in the staff fridge. One small point of complaint though, it would have been great if there had been more than one plug in each room. We've all got phones to charge.
