Friendly and helpful staff, making sure guests are happy with their stay. Amazing state of rooms and quite convenient bed lamp with charging station (you won't wake up everyone when you're coming at night, want to read,etc.). It's not in the center but it's 20 minute walk through nice area and nearest main street is full of coffee shops, cafes, etc.

Great rooms, beds and bedding v. clean and comfortable plus well made so no irritating squeaking as the neighbour settles in. Pleasantly surprised to have a small shelf with a power socket and light as part of the bunk- so good for charging phones overnight close to you. Kitchen clean and well stocked with all basics and ablution area immaculate- great hot/pressure shower!

This YHA is surely worth the price, as it is 7 minutes' walk from the rail station. Keycard provided means you can access the rooms at any time. The kitchen area has everything one need. Ian is extremely helpful in explaining everything. The only letdown is a female staff on the handling of our luggage storage. We put in £3 as instructed, but the machine did not work. That staff kept trying to blame us in the faulty machine (when it simply didn't work [2nd right on top row). Really unhelpful.

A large group of young school children ran wild throughout the hostel and the staff refused to intervene until 11pm

Best hostel Ever! Brandnew, clean and very close to the main places to visit! Is for all the ages, there were families with kids and oldies! Highly recommend

Everything was fantastic. The staff were so so nice (I remember Nigel haha he was so nice, patient and cute.) Everything was tidy and prepared. I really love here. One thing: During our stay, there weas a large group of kids running upstairs and downstairs (partying i suppose) so it was quite noisy even at midnight. Hope you guys are luckier;) I would definitely stay here NEXT TIME!!

The hostel is really nice and clean. You can charge phone on bed and the shower is excellent.

The facilities of your hostel in general are awesome but the showers aren't the the greatest though. One always has to be aware if too much water is accumulated on the ground while showering because the drainage doesn't seem to work efficiently and there is no kind of blockade between the shower and the door so one feels that there is always a risk of leaking water to the outside of the room which would be horrible. I hope a solution can be found and something can be done about this.

We stayed in a shared dorm. The beds were clean (but a little hard!). Bathrooms were plenty and clean. Breakfast was offered but we did not take this option. The hostel has a kitchen and sitting room, which was cozy and well lit.

I liked everything about staying at the hostel except that noise what some visitors can make. Some people realy have no idea about other being around and respect for others including them-self, they behaved like animals shouting, banging door and their stuff all night and early in the morning. Earplugs needed! :) Everything else was realy good and well organized.

The only bad thing about the hostel was the breakfast...

The atmosphere were very friendly and genuine. Despite I spent all day touring the city and some sleeping problems, the staff always offered possibilities for a solution.

Very clean. The cleanest and neatest dorm room I've ever been in a youth Hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff, great entertainment facilities and good opportunities to make friends. Great location too very close to the train station!

Decent, functional budget accommodation with a range of facilities, but the building is charmless with poky rooms and bland location. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and utensils, but is small - obliging strangers to sit awkwardly close. The TV lounge is smallish. Wi-fi is free, but renting the sole communal computer is quite costly. My four-bed dorm had only three lockers. £5.25 breakfast (advertised at £4.99) is VFM with unlimited non-heated components. V. clean with efficient staff.
