We loved this hostel, and we look forward to returning to it on our next trip to North Wales. The staff (namely, Julianne,, Carolyn, Gareth, Ben, James and Hayley Louise) were very friendly and helpful, and made our stay more than comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious, and we looked forward to them every day. The portions were generous, and we never went hungry. It was like staying with friends!
All is good except the fact that wi-fi is not free and quite expensive and that if there are children staying in the hostel this somewhat limits your freedom of movement. It felt like I was being treated as a potential child-molester.
Great hostel - only a few minutes away from town
YHA was very fun and inviting, with lots of help. The staff was super helpful, going to the point of ordering food for us when we had no way to call anybody. The location was a bit up the road from the town, but not bad at all. Facilities were good for what we payed. Would recommend.
this was my first every stay in a hostel, and it was great! we had a great view of Conwy, the staff were all friendly, and helpful, and everything was clean and tidy.
it is such a great hostel, that you almost feel like in a hotel. very clean, very nice staff (especially "ilka"), very modern! absolutely happy we stayed there.
When I firstly booked it, I thought it was expensive for just youth hostel. However, later I found that I was completely wrong. I had an amazing experience there! Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely views from the hill (the way from the station was steep. Watch out if you carry a heavy luggage), cozy common rooms and a large kitchen. It was full of holiday atmosphere. Only two things sad about it were The Internet was pricey and limited access (not available from my room). No hair dryer to hire.
Good hostel to stay in for two nights. Friendly staff, near to walking trail, but not so many interesting people staing there.
