Had a good value 4 bed private ensuite room. Good location, up a big hill but only about 5 minutes walk to town, 10 mins uphill on way back. Locks on room door and powerfull showe. Free parking. Note no cash machine in town and hard to find a decent place to eat, we didn't try the hostel food but sounded better than the pub food in town

The hostel has a very nice view, but the walk from the train station is pretty dreadful, especially with luggage. It's not too far, but its up a giant hill. Fine if you have a car, but with public transportation I'd find somewhere else to stay.

The rooms were old and pretty disgusting, with hairs etc on the bed. It was cheap but after you pay £5 for your breakfast (which was cold eggs and bacon) it is probably better to go elsewhere with breakfast included as wouldn't be much more. We booked late so here was the only available place.
