Nice place to stay, homely. Japanese lady was very nice and helpful, other 2 ladys were average. Good location and close to the vintage stores.

They should not charge prices equivalent to motels when they can't provide the facilities... I was totally disappointed.

The hostel is located a little bit away of the center. Furthermore I found it quite old, and more in the sense of not well maintained. I would not go there again.

The roof terrasse was great. Kitchen very well equipped. It is definitely a nice hostel and I would come again. I think the Duvet covers should be changed, too.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and overall the hostel a great place to stay. Thanks!

YHA was good, clean and easily accessible in Dunedin. Basic accommodation, cleaness and nice staff were I like and recommend.

People at this place arent very sociable. You can be a "member" and they seem to take that seriously. They all wana be "authentic backpackers" I stayed at a few hostels and most were much more sociable. In Dunedin I also stayed at Manor House - people running the place were so friendly, l;aid back and helpful. they came out with us to the rugby and bought tickets to come to the games, drank with us in the evening, put on an argentinian BBQ for everyone to eat and meet each other.. so much more!
