This is my very first time to recomend a hostel for those years, only for this is an amazing place to visit. This hostel is a smal house in the center of a beautiful courtyard which is full of green grass, trees, flowers and birds.....the only inconvient is the unbelivable bus fee to the other villages of the center lake district, the single tick to Bowness or windermere is 5.85pound!!! i can only buy a one day ticket of 7 pound to free access to any bus among the center district within one day..

The best hostel we stayed in in the UK! Really friendly staff (thanks to Allison for her tips on hikes), clean rooms, & beautiful setting. Great breakfasts, too!

The actual building was an attraction in itself architecturally and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
