Actually the overall impression was good except the terrible location where you had to walk at least 15mins from Hawkshead village centre. It's quite inconvenient and a little dangerous if you walk to YHA Hawkshead as no pedestrians way. When you walk to the location, you have to pay attention to the cars from two sides and walk at least 15mins. If driving a car, there's no problem. The room of YHA Hawkshead was nice. It's clean and large with mirrors and can wash faces and brush teeth.

Very nice, clean hostel in a quiet and beautiful area. The hostel is converted from a very large house, and so the showers and toilets are kind of strange, partitioned off from a former large room I think. I did not like the showers, but the room was really nice, beds are very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
