This hostel was very average. Kitchen fine. Heated by wood fire, which is nice, but cold after the front desk person leaves for the night.

well equipped kitchen and place was clean. no locker in the room but room was quite spacious

Again another very good YHA hostel. Like the one in Te Anau, this is a lot smaller and relaxed than the avarage YHA. Great location directly at the lake. Definitely recommended.

The location is really good as it just next to the Lake Tekapo and we can view the Lake from our own double bed room. It's so great. The kitchen and the dinning room is big enough and had also a good view of the Lake. The most disappointing thing for us is that there are lots of flies disturbing us while we were having meal in the dinning room.

Right on the shores of the lake, it's a fantastic hostel. Just expensive.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights to explore the beautiful Lake Tekapo. The common room is comfortable and looks out over the lake. Perfect location, decent kitchen, helpful staff and clean rooms. Recommended.
