This hostel is perfect, location, atmosphere, facilities, etc... I went with some friends and I had to stay 1 extra night and I didn't like the fact I had to check out at 10 am and check in again at 2pm when I've been in the hostel for several nights already. I think it's a burocracy thing they should resolve, I had to pack my things, leave them again in the baggage room and re-check in again in a different room at 2pm, extra time, that I would have loved to use to explore the city..

Everything was just the way it suppose to be. The only minus were showers. You can't take the shower without making the whole bathroom wet.

We had a great visit in YHA hostel! The staff was great, so nice and helpfull and I wish I could stay for a longer time. I would definitly stay here the next visit and strongly recommend this hostel to other travellers. We lived in a 4pers, ensuit, private room and it had enough space for us, the only minus I can give is that the sewer in the bathroom smelled and that the woman in the kitchen who cleaned up was'nt very nice to any of the visitors. Otherwise this was a great hostel! :D

Really great location! Nice, clean modern hostel with great staff and attraction ticketing facilities. Our room was ridiculously small unfortunately with no where to keep our luggage that was convenient. Our shower flooded the bathroom as well, you had to use a scraper to scrap the water back into the shower! Other than those small things it was pretty good. Not really a party hostel, even though they have a bar there. Mostly families were staying while we were there. No free wifi!

I heated my stay in this hostel. The first room they gave me was like "a Hospital room" - ground level access. I had request them to change my room ASAP, the good thing is that they did it immediately . The other thing it´s that It is full of families with Kids.and we were trying to pick up some girls and people at 10Pm "shhh" us everywhere..not cool..And the charge you 5 Pound for Internet, 2 pounds for this, it´s expensive in every way..One other thing..Do NOT GO TO THE PUB CRAWL IS EXPENSIVE

Great hostel to stay! The bedrooms are nice with good mattresses. The kitchen is well organized. But the highlight is the reception that also functions as a meeting point and provides a pleasant atmosphere for interaction between guests.

We had a private room for four and the water in the shower couldn't get away.

the room was not anything special, but the beds were super comfortable! The showers dont have a raised platform or anything so water goes everywhere but thats all i can think of that was negative. The common room/lobby was superb! You great discounts on everything from the Tower of London to Fabric Nightclub. Always have food available, try the pizza its amazing! And the staff were so so helpful and had a great attitude. My favourite hostel actually!

Great location, close to metro and other sites. The neighbourhood and the hostel itself felt safe. BreAkfast was not free but at least it is decent. Staff were friendly (except for one woman). Also Internet is not free. Facilities were generally clean.

Everything was mediocre. It wasn't at all bad, but I suspect that there is better in London.

Great, central location right near Great Portland St station. Being a YHA they charge for a lot of things (wifi, towels etc) if you're not a member and prices were more than other hostels in Europe. But this place has everything a traveller needs - big common area, big kitchen, 24hr service desk, TV, games, knowledgeable staff, close to every major sight and Camden. Always looked forward to relaxing back at the hostel.

Perfect review! The staff were all young, friendly, and willing to help! I was only there for a night, but I would definitely recommend this for a longer stay, as they have deals and offers on many different sights and activities throughout London! Can't think of a negative about the place. Highly recommend!

I stayed in this great hostel for only one night, but it was a pretty good experience. The staff was really kind and they helped me a lot. The rooms were clean and warm, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was very clean too, and there was plenty of hot water. The only bad thing was that you have to pay for wifi conexion.

I have stayed two times at YHA, the location and atmospher are excellent. But when we moved, we found a little flaw: the electricity charge problem.
