It´s a very nice and friendly hostel. Good Staff and nice location. Just a few minutes walk to the metro. The breakfest is not inclueded and it is a little bit expensive.

This YHA is convenient for central London, very clean facilities, friendly and secure. My only criticism would be the dorm was quite warm and the duvets were very thick - too hot for me to sleep well. The staff said I could open a window. There was no flexibility on bedding, which was a shame. Overall, highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at Yha London Central. The hostel provides everything you can possibly need. Too bad we had to pay so much for the internet... Also, as it´s a very big hostel, it can get very crowded during check out time.

Excellent place but please consider to offere free Wi Fi all around the hostel. It s a pitty that hostels of low quality do offer WiFi and yours which has nothing to do with these places does not offer it.

Bad- small rooms, slamming doors, extra charges (wireless, membership fees), and neighborhood is a bit lame, not a lot of bars/restaurants, and what's there isn't open late. good- clean. organized. everything works. close to a tube station. 24 hr pizza cooking on site for a reasonable price. other: at least 3 or 4 (but not all) of the young female staff seem to have some kind of attitude. Not sure what the deal is here, but it's damn annoying. Other female staff and guys were fine.

No free wi fi, no breakfast. For less money I got the same thing somewhere else. People at reception not really helpful or nice.

Great hostel. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable with enough secure space to store everything I wanted. The shower was good and clean. The common room downstairs was good, but probably needed more comfortable seeting and the sofas that were there were a weird shape that made them a little uncomfortable. I was dissapointed that the hostel wi-fi did not extend to my room on the 2nd floor. Alcohol prices were excellent, which meant I had a drink there instead of elsewhere. Friendly staff.

- We payed 9 pounds x 2 because we didn't have a special card. Come on, put it in big letters in your ad... I'm a student and Britain is so f***ing expensive, i don't need extra waste of money. - No free Wi-FI? Men, we are in the 21th century! Update! - And I hated paying for leave my luggage in a locker. Really... So disappointing.

Location is great so you don't waste time getting to the sights. The facilities and services are terrific so you can choose to buy meals or make your own; and a cash machine inside the hostel. The staff are eager to help with theater tickets, tours, local tips and onward travel. Even though the staff were busy they were always friendly, enthusiastic and eager to help. Minor problem with wet floor in bathroom.

My only issue was that the bathroom could have been cleaned more often but problem with the shower was sorted very quickly once it was reported. I just wish that other guests, especially those arriving later in the evening would respect people trying to sleep.

Stayed there for a week+.Great facilities, almost brand new.No keys - Everything works with a magnetic card like the Oyster Tube card which makes things easier. 1 min. walk to Great Portland Street.(east) 5 min walk to Oxford Circus tube.(South) 2 min. daily morning walk to Local Sainsburys(North) to avoid the 3.95 quid breakfast.Wi-Fi not really a problem.Freely available at nearby shops Pret-A-Manger and Starbucks. 17-20 quid a day in central London (Marylebone) was quite a prime deal stay
