The only insecurity point is the luggage room, where everyone has almost free access. The location helped me very much. I liked also the cleanliness and the staff attention.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location was pretty convenient with access to multiple Tube lines. There weren't any major tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity, but there were a variety of restaurants, and a grocery store right around the corner. We had a 4-bed private room with en-suite - and it worked just fine for us. Overall a good choice.

No free wifi, no breakfast (and very expensive). Other than that, nice common area, good to meet people, very safe and organized. Perfect location. Good value for London!

So nice to be in a hostel that doesn't smell of stinky feet! It was a great place and because the dorm had en-suite wc and shower, it meant you didn't need to traipse through the building in your pyjamas. Definite bonus!

i had an excellent stay. The place was extremely clean and everyone was very friendly. I really liked that there was a separate room for the toilet and the shower within our own dorm. It was reasonably priced and the staff was helpful at all hours of the night. The beds aren't as comfy as I would have hoped but overall I had an excellent stay. Thanks!

The hostel is good but because it is a big hostel it lacks that feeling of being part of a family. The staff is helpful but they are also only that - staff. I would have wished for more passionate staff who are interested in what guests are actually staying at the hostel. Locationwise it was good and cleaning was great too. Kitchen was well equipped but I would have wished for a better sortiment of basic food such as salt, pepper, oil etc. If you only stay for 2 days like me you can't buy that.

Not having internet access in our room was disappointing. It should be told that there is a kitchen downstairs that has internet.

We were overall positive about staying at the hostel. But we have one complaint. We lived in a 4 bed room with bathroom ensuite. The bathroom in 206 smelled so bad that we couldn't use it, so we had to use the bathroom in the hallway.

Great security and loved the shelf and lamps by all the beds! Didn't like the toilet paper and lack of paper towel but everything was clean. Would reccommend.

Awesome hostel in the middle of London and so close to Oxford Street! Staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the rooms/bathrooms are all comfortable and clean. The only drawback would be that there is no common room (except for right next to reception/cafe) so it's harder to meet other travellers, but apart from that I would definitely recommended YHA London Central!

staff were extremely professional. friendly and approachable, who helped us decide what tours and activities to do. enjoyed the cafe area. clean hostel with a great location. hanging space for clothes in the dorms with coat hangers & access to hairdryers in the dorms would in my opinion make this a 5 star hostel!

Thought the hair dryers and straighteners in the laundry room was an added bonus! I got to do my hair while waiting for my washing!

Extremely hopeless management. I am a man and booked a mixed dorm but I was put in an all female dorm and woken up in the middle of the night to switch rooms. How can someone even be put in the worng dorm in the first place. How bad is the allocation policy. Abd the showers were flooded...very bad drainage.

All the drains in my room were plugged and they were told early in the evening but nothing was done about it. The beds are also smaller than twin size and when you turn over you fall out.

My only real complaint with this place is that wi-fi should be free. Otherwise the security and location are top notch. The 2 outlets in every bed is an excellent feature. This is a pretty quiet hostel, so if you are looking for a "party atmosphere" then you probably want to look elsewhere.
