I have stayed two times at YHA, the location and atmospher are excellent. But when we moved, we found a little flaw: the electricity charge problem.

The team was very welcoming, the atmosphere was very cool and comfy, and the room cleaned. We had a great stay and I already recommended YHA central London to a friend who wants to visit London.

I had been there 3 times before and will continue going there because of the great location. The only downside is connecting to the internet. In this day and age, it's difficult for me to understand that they don't have a free, high-speed wifi connection fully available in every room that would automatically be included in the price for the night. But, I will continue going there because having to find and test another hostel which has all the qualities of YHA London Central may prove to be hard

The room was generally kept clean and quiet. I think the hostel cleaned the restroom at least once in 2 days. The staffs were generally friendly and helped me to book for musicals and so on. There were supermarkets, pharmacies, sandwich stores, cafes nearby. Moreover, shopping places like picadilly circus was also within 15 minutes walk.

I have stayed in a lot of hostels and I observed that the staff were extremely rude and obnoxious. Most of the time the staff are all talking to each other behind the desk and seem annoyed when they are asked a question. It a really modern hostel with great facilities its such a shame really that there is no atmosphere within the hostel. Customer service needs to be reviewed asap.

I was only here a few hours but I would have been very worried about the number of bathrooms/showers available per floor. It is a little hard to find and pretty far walk to the underground station. The hostel was very clean. You need your own lock for the lockers and it seems like the hole for your lock is a little smaller than normal. I took one look at it and said, "my lock isn't fitting in there". They do have tiny key operated locks available for purchase for 3 pounds. Wi-Fi is extra.

Great hostel. More expensive than most, but well worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

This hostel is clean, friendly and in an amazing location. It doesn't quite live up to the excellence of the YHA Oxford Street but unfortunately that hostel is near impossible to get into. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is good, very close to oxford circus. I stayed in a six beds dorm, all the facilities were clean and tidy, especially the toilet and the bathroom which the ventilation was really good. Everything dried off quickly. The staff were helpful. =)

I liked the way they decorated the walls, very original. Breakfast was good value for money. Rooms were clean and rather spacious. The only minus I feel about this hostel is that it costs extra to use internet despite bringing your own computer. And the internet does not reach the rooms. But that is not necessarily bad either since it enhances social contact and ppl can not stay up online all night. All in all I recommend this hostel.

I thought there was a slight shortage of cups in the kitchen. I also got the impression that the toilets were shared by a large number of people - although they were clean, it seemed like a minimal service on that point.

The staff was really awesome and helpful! We were also lucky to have great roommates. It was a little hard to find at first, but definitely worth the money.

The showers were awful (impossible to adjust water pressure & direction, making it impossible to shower without getting your hair wet), but everything else was great.

I am not a member of the YHA It would assist if websites used for booking openly revealed that a membership fee is payable in addition to room cost

I really enjoyed my stay at YHA London Central. The hostel is very clean and very well secured. The staff was very friendly too, I was on my own and they kept saying that I could always ask them if I needed anything. Location was perfect, just a five minute walk to Oxford Street! Breakfast wasn't included but there is a supermarket and Starbucks just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again and recommend YHA to everyone!

Had a great stay at YHA London central. Staff were fantastic. The lounge area is brilliant, really nice area to have a chat to fellow travellers or unwind after a busy day in the streets of london. Rooms are spacious enough to handle the guest and the bathrooms are really well kept. Will be returning before my time in europe expires. Cheers YHA!
