There are extra charges for everything. Good hostel nonetheless.

The only downside to this hostel is having to pay a really large amount for terrible wifi. It was really good apart from that. And has a lift which is great if you live on the fourth floor and have a lot of bags.

There was a homeless man staying here one night. He was begging other guests for money and drinking beer Needs more bathrooms and some decor to add character. It would be a great place to stay if you were looking for something like a cheap hotel, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it because it's quite bleak except in the downstairs reception area. The hostel was understaffed and it always took ages for even the simplest thing to be achieved at the reception desk.

Great hostel, the staff was very friendly and helpful - only criticism is that they were a bit slow when we were checking in, however I think this was due to staff training. Would definitely return!

The bathroom smelled musty/moldy/gross all the time... I don't know why that was.. It's like they needed to clean the drains or something. The lounge area is really nice, but like I said, they could invest in the bathrooms some more. This hostel was super close to Soho!! So when I went out and partied, I could just take a 5 min walk back and pass out on my bed. The people here are somewhat nice I guess? They don't really try to hard to get to know you or anything..

The only thing that I did not like was the attitude of receptionists. They were not really friendly and supportive. For example, they just gave me the room key and did not tell me how to find the room.

I stayed at the YHA London Central whit my schoolclass for 5 days i jan. 2012. When we got there we were plesantly surprised about how nice the hostel was. The location was teriffic, a 5-10 min. walk to get to Oxford circus and Oxford street. The staff were very kind and the check in was very quick and easy. We stayed in a private room with ensuite. The room was very simple, but clean. And we had all we needed in there. The stay in London was a great sucess!

Stayed before. Would stay again. More of a hotel rather than a hostel. But facilities are all there. Perfect really. Central location. Great staff from all around the world.

I was in a room with a noisy bear. I hadn't a towel for me and there was a towel on the floor in the bath room. The rest was ok.

Some guests a little loud as there is no curfew, but that can't be helped, or quibbled at with regards to the incredibly low price. Shower room wasn't excellent as the rubber to stop the water going everywhere wasn't sealed. Beds were clean and reasonable comfortable and excellent coffee in then cafe.

I like this hostel too much! Beds and rooms are confortable and clean, bathrooms are very clean and there is hot wather if you want take a shower. Common room is good, hostel has internet but you have to pay for it. If you want to call, you need to by a card to make a call. Breakfast is not inclueded, it must be paid at the reception before you order it and it does not cost too much, it's worth it. Only one italian staff was a little unpolite and unfriendly to me. Ramon, São Paulo, Brasil.

Had a great time and met some cool people. All three of my roommates snored like chainsaws, but that's not the hostels fault. The hostel had the usual "McDonalds" feel of YHA, but that was expected.

Great location, 5 minutes from Oxford Street. Nice rooms but small. Bathroom ok. Common area is ok too. Strong good point is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. I would stay there again.

I had a great time throughout my stay at the hostel! The staff were very accommodating when there was an error made with my booking, and I couldn't be more grateful for this. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone visiting London.

Good. Clean. What more could you ask for? Great location and staff. However internet is at a very high price. Come on guys!!!! Make it free... That's actually the WORST thing about it!!
