The room was rather small but very clean. Very quiet neighbourhood also. After a long day we were able to sleep well. Breakfast was not included (priced 3.95 GBP additionally) which is a good thing because it is catastrophic. Yeah, you can try it, but it's pretty boring and it's always the same. In overall, I would recommend this hostel.

Dorms are very small and hardly any room to put your pack/case. No top sheets either, just a quilt, which one hopes gets changed after each person? Otherwise a great hostel for the money with excellent facilities and freindly staff. This was the 3rd time I stayed there, so that says something.

The hostel is quite expensive, but it's worth it, since the facilities are really good. Unfortunately, the bar can't sell drinks after 11pm, due to London's law.

great hostel, the staff were lovely and it's just a few stops in the underground from town. One negative point: we were charged an additional £3 per person upon arrival simply because we weren't members of the YHA Club. We had no idea this would happen. Those £3 should be added to the initial price and deducted for people who are members instead because it isn' fair that you get to reception and you just don't have a choice, you have to pay yp.

We made the reservation in October and were told the same week that my Boyfriend has to switch the room once. BUT when we arived we were told that he has to change room nearly everyday! We reserved rooms en suite but my room was not en suite.... Otherwise hostel was good but to switch room every day is really annoying...

Hostel was clean, excellent location. Beds were comfortable. Price for internet and breakfast was too expensive. Staff friendly.

Good location, but that was about the only good thing. The staff hardly spoke English and weren't helpful at all and the cleaning lady (who also didn't speak English) comes in at 10am ready or not and starts cleaning.

I stayed at this hostel for 12 nights in December and unfortunately it doesnt bring me good memories. I was in a 6 bed room and most of the nights i spent there were sleepless due to people snoring really loud all night! Anyway, to what concerns the YHA I really liked it. The staff was more than helpful and the place is clean. Not to mention the location wich is unbeatable! Id stay again but id choose a 4 bed room instead. The 6 bed room can get a bit hot and smelly when all the beds are full.

The hostel location and staff are amazing! You can walk to the tube or Oxford street in under five minutes and explore for hours! There were in room lockers, but if you turned the handle (with a lock on) the door still opened; making no use for a lock. Other than that my stay was very good! The breakfast they offer for around three pounds in the morning is filling and worth the price!

It's better to ensure all dormitory beds are provided with a electricity socket and a reading light - unfortunately my bed in a 6-bed dorm has neither of them. Except this everything is okay, especially for its great locations.

Everything was perfectly organaised and arranged in the hostel. The only disadvantage I think was the visible attendance of a security guard in the evening.

The staff didn't seem too friendly and there was a charge for EVERYTHING. It is the ONLY hostel I have ever been to that charges for internet, locks, etc.
