even for an older lady the stay was excellent. The YH is a silent place in a noisy city

Exactly what a hostel should be - great location, quiet at night, clean dorms, comfortable beds. Staff were all exceptional - friendly, patient, helpful and well-informed.

Positive point: location and security, with good magnetic key system. Negative points: wifi (I did not believe it), pub craw, padlock, breakfast, towels, dinner, and other things is charged. The staff seems to only want to charge you and not caring, the hostel also admits many children. In summary: The hostel has a good infrastructure, but with a terrible staff!

Amazing stay for a student and very friendly staff and environment! Could probably lay off the hot female receptionists though ;)

Excellent hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Excellent location with a tube stop just around the corner and within walking distance of London attractions.

I really liked this place except I was disappointed they didn't have free wifi especially since it was a little expensive. The people were wonderful though.

Great, clean hostel. However if you are wanting opportunities to meet new people I would consider choosing somewhere else.

We were supposed to stay there from 27th Nov~ 1st Dec. An unexpected event made us to cancel it. Despite the fact that i had inform them at least 48 hours before our check-in(21:00 Friday 27th Nov.) i'm still waiting to send me back the money that they charged me on booking. (Service Charge + Deposit : €34.72) The reference number of my booking is 23598-23642028. Greetings Damakoudis Panagiotis

Because I reported my friend Ireland address I had to pay £20 extra as some. They said that was in email I received. But I didn't. Please, can I have it explain again, why I have had to pay it? Thanks.

I really liked this hostel. The room I was in slept 4 people, but only two of us were in there and there was barely enough room for 2 people. Other than that it was great!

Really nice hostel- similar to a hotel in some aspects. Had a great 4 day stay, easy walk anywhere, and incredibly helpful staff. Accommodations were clean and well kept; the bathrooms in the rooms could use a bit more ventilation... Self serve kitchen was a great resource as well for those looking to cook in house. My only major complaint is that they charge for everything extra to the room. Breakfast and wifi are available at a price I wasn't about to pay. Outside alcohol isn't allowed either
