The rooms were a bit messy since people left things laying around which could have been dangerous in the middle of the night - notices should be put up in this regard. Wi-fi should be available - i'd rather pay an extra £2 for the whole stay and have free wifi then the ridiculous prices. In fact instead of having breakfast in the common room, I just went around the corner, got a good breakfast from starbucks (latte and porridge) (for a cheaper price) plus free wifi for an hour.

I decided to stay at this hostel because I didn't want to share a bathroom with men. This hostel was one of the few that guaranteed that Everything was amazing, except the hostel bathroom in our suite smelled of mold. There's no ventilation system and no windows. Also, when we did open the room windows, the room smelled of smoke due to the people smoking on outside. I would suggest installing ventilation systems in the bathrooms and putting No smoking signs 20 feet from all the windows.

Overall the hostel was a nice place to stay. Very central and very clean. The 4 person dorm that my friends and I stayed in was wonderful. We had our private washroom. No free internet kind of was a set back but the coffee chains around provided free internet. Definitely will book with YHA if I ever return to London.

Everything was really clean and nice. Their travel center was extremely helpful. Breakfast wasn't included, yet there was a little corner store down the street that had pretty cheap sandwiches and things, and the things they sold weren't so expensive either. The staff was very friendly. I don't see why I would ever stay at a different hostel in London :)

always a nice place to stay. it was my 4th stay there and i like it! but they have no 4-bed-dorms anymore. i'd rather have a 4-bed dorm than a 6-bed-dorm. but anyway - still it's a good, clean and central place - i can recommend it very much!

Really good hostel with everything neat and clean. Convenient kitchen/common room to prepare your own food. In just a couple of days I met some really great people from all over the world. I will be staying here again next time I visit London.

Excellent place to stay in central London...only one thing spoilt it slightly, people were very noisy after midnight. unlike rural hostels where quite rules after 11.00pm. No problem with the lively reception area , but upstairs in the rooms a bit of quiet would be appreciated. Otherwise excellent place and I will come back...with ear plugs!

This is probably the best hostel in London. I have stayed in quite a few hostels in London now and this hostel sets the bar high.

Private room for 4 people with bathroom for two nights. Modern and clean. They cleaned the room the second day. Sure enough. The atmosphere was normal. The staff was correct, but not stand out for their kindness. Did not try the breakfast. The area is very good and quiet, 10 minutes walk from Oxford Circus. Affordable price as our parameters. No complaints and will probably repeat.

The air quality was quite poor in our room and caused some of us to have nosebleeds. The air conditioner made a really loud noise every 10 mins that kept us up all night. I felt that the hostel advertised it was closer to Oxford street than it actually is. Towels and internet are somewhat expensive. The decor could be better as well. The 24 hour reception desk and kitchen is useful and appreciated.

Our staying at the hostel was great: all clean, beautiful family room and very lovely people at the reception. As we travelled with our children age 4 and 7, all the staff was very friendly with them, also organizing a Halloween party with pumpin carving competition!
