The rooms can get very stuffy and hot.

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff was amazing. always willing to help and give suggestions. The only issue I had during my stay was that our room had the access to the roof. None of the staff made us aware about that and the door ended up not locking. But once they were aware they fixed it right away.

I stayed at four different Hostels during a 12 day trip and this was by far the best one! Great location, felt very secure, very kind staff and overall excellent amenities. Will definitely stay here again if I visit London!

So good to hear. Thank you for the wonderful review.

It was expensive, and moreover they charge up for everything "extra" like paying for storage bags and for internet... it was ridiculous!... internet was not even free as they block the websites arguing that the content was "pornografic". Come on, i am an adult, i have to pay for internet and is not free to see whatever i wanted (ps: some of the sites blocked were nightours.com and tinder app) Atmosphere is very cold, people there don´t even say "hi"... feels like a church.

Staff was friendly and informed. Only downside was the toilets tended to get clogged quite often and the dryers were a bit too industrial. Otherwise, a good hostel.

Thank you for leaving us such a great review. We are in the process of trying to fix up all the pipes in the building. Hope to see you back again.

We booked a room for three at the hostel and though we were early to check in, the room was ready and we were allowed in straight away. Everything still looks really new, the room was definitely big enough for three people and we had three lockers, a sink and two mirrors in the room, so we could easily get ready in the morning. We didn't hear any kind of noise from other people and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Bathroom facilities were excellent. We didn't have to wait at all.

Need free wifi

77%

The real draw here is the location. It couldn't be a better location! It is absolutely perfect!!! But it is extremely expensive even for London... And they charge everything, even wifi! If you have time in the city, you can find equally good hostels at half the price in good locations also. The only reason to stay here is if you have just a couple of days in the city and want to stay in walkable distance from most sights.

Wifi isn´t free. About cleanliness, it is weak. Bathorooms almost clean, but bedrooms, I stayed there for five days and the room wasn´t clean during this time.

Staff were awesome, very helpful. Fantastic location. Nice showers etc for a hostel. Rooms were quite reasonably sized and the dorm rooms are good because there's only four people to a room. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The only downside is the lack of free wifi. Other than that for a hostel is was great. Friendly people, helpful front desk, great location!

They have carpet in all rooms. It´s not clean for me . wiifi is not free. Bedroom is smal and tight. But good localization. Staff in the morning was very helpful.

Unfortunately, the hot water boiler broke after our first night so for 2 days there was no hot water to shower with. We walked to the YHA Central Hostel and showered there instead. It was a setback, but not a major one... just inconvenient. YHA Central has a large dining area and cafeteria but YHA Oxford is a slightly better location but is quite small!

All in all it was a good accomodation in a great location. the only disturbing part was the toilets that were really small. you were almost sitting on the garbage box. nice staff and great offers to do. area was really nice.

Great place to stay. The kitchen is fantastic. My towel disappeared every couple days but I was able to get a new one from the front desk. I wish it were closer to the tube stops but it's in an amazing location - restaurants, bars, stores, theaters, and more are nearby - and reasonably close to 2 tube stops so that is ok.

A great hostel right in the thick of things in London. I've stayed here twice now and I'm sure I'll be back again. Thanks for another great stay!

Small rooms, but laundry in basement and you cannot beat the location. Staff lovely; wifi not available for non-members, but I had breakfast at Starbucks everyday (two seconds down the road), and they have free wifi.
