Worth it! Not expensive at all, especially for what you get! Recommend it to everyone. The only thing was that there are no chairs or something to sit on, but since you're in London you don't have the time to sit and wait, no? :)

Great Location, great place, stuff was always helpful and very nice :) A lot old people and familys but i guess it was because of the season. only a few minutes to a supermarket and underground. very clean! kitchen got everything you might need for cooking, making breakfast,...

Place has great potential and the location couldn't be better. very clean, decent sized lockers in rooms, very spacious and well equipped kitchen. Not sure if it was just because it's low season but the hostel seemed to be full of senior citizens... This wasn't an issue but for a youth hostel it seemed a bit odd and does change the atmosphere somewhat. The only other down point is having to pay for any added extras and the surprise £10 for a YHA membership (not optional)

Very good location, it's clean. Had I great time staying there. Only downside is the amount on stairs you have to climb before you can get to the hostel.

Maybe personal should know more about transport possibilities from London to Airports - like prices, where to buy tickets, how long it takes etc.

5* It was so good I almost don't want to shout about it as having stayed in most of the hostels in London I was tempted to keep this little gem to myself. We stayed in a clean spacious twin room for less that £25 each - Bargain. Don't let the additional £3 p/p p/n supplement put you off. Only downside was that the lift was broken and reception is on the 3rd floor, but as we didn't have any heavy luggage this was OK for us. Enjoy your stay and don't tell everybody ;)

We were at YHA London Oxford Street for three nights. Everything else was great, except for the noise from the street in room 36 because the window didn't close properly. Also it was a bit chilly in the rooms, probably because of poorly installed/old window seals.

Receptionist was very helpful. I hadn't realised I'd be charged for temporary YHA membership; perhaps this could be made clearer to customers when they book. It would also be nice if towels were included.
