Good service and a bit unexpected to find a charge for the towel and is not explicit in the web site, otherwise I would have brought my own towel from home!!

I think even the Internet access and the breakfast should be included in the price we pay.

This would have been an excellent hostel. The location is great, facilities are good and all and all it is a ver good hostel. Unfortunately the staff is not very helpful nor friendly. It's sad how big affect it has on the whole experience when you don't really feel welcome and you don't get proper help when you ask to. Plus the extra £3 per night for not being YHA member was somewhat annoying surprise since it was not announced in the hostelworld page. Otherwise this is as good choice as any.

The cleanliness of the toilet on the ground floor needs attention.

The helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere, all made for a great visit with my daughter her partner and two children. Family room with en-suite was good. Thanks

It would be a nice idea to put some hangers on the walls and some more sockets. In our room (201) the mirror light in the bathroom was broken, and my handle locker was broken.

Excellent hostel, excellent location, especially if you need the Eurostar or arrive in London from the north. The 24h bar/restaurant is most certainly a plus. The staff is the weak point, though. I think they prefer running the hostel without any costumers in it, as i was clearly disturbing them when i wanted to check in.

Stayed only for one night but you could see it has a nice atmosphere. The lounge area though small is real comfy to hang around. Check in/out was quick and trouble free. I was in a 4 bedroom room, clean with what seemed new furniture. One gripe I have though is that you can't open the window. Not even in inclined position. I uderstand it's for security reasons but a little fresh air is vital. Washroom showers are kinda difficult to use but in general washrooms were preety decent. Would go again

The room is really small and smell terrible! No charge in room! Staffs are nice. Not a good choice.

All in all a nice place, being there over Christmas changed my view slightly because the city was virtually locked down, so I saw plenty of the hostel. The toilet in our room had trouble flushing however, but other than that it was a nice place.

I‘m satisfied with all the things in this hostel except the facilities. I think it would be better if there is a kettle in the room.

The place is amazing and very well located, however, the rooms were not very well cleaned, and the windows do not open, so it smelled a little like mould.

Excellent location, at the centre of train and bus routes. Why are they using the sensor system for the shower room? One has to keep pressing the tap to get water and each squirt lasts for only a few seconds. This is no way to save water, for we will still need to use the necessary amount in order to clean ourselves. The sensor light in the shower is especially annoying. I had to keep opening the glass screen in order to trigger the light on . As a result , water is sprayed on the floor outside

Stayed here several times, never had any problems. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Only bad thing is there's no free wifi, but you can get that across the street at St. Pancras International. Can be pricier than other hostels (extra 3 pounds/night if you're not a YHA member) but I think it's worth it for the cleanliness.
