It was my thrid stay and I definitely come back again. The rooms are big, clean and the facilities are good. You have enough storage for you clothes.

The hostel is perched on a canal in a nicely regenerated area only a 20 minute walk from Oxford Street station. I thought it was great value for the location and the facilities (bar, restaurant, well equipped kitchen). Dorms have their own bathrooms. It is more institutional than hostels I am used to staying at but people might prefer this as you know you'll get a clean bathroom, better quality beds and bedding, better facilities and security. Staff were friendly. A comfortable stay. Thanks :)

The hostel charged additional 3 pounds per person per night because we didn't have a YHA membership card. This was not clear at the booking moment.

Located in Castlefield, one of my favorite places in Manchester. Free buses to get around the city. Maybe, there could be private rooms and breakfast included, as little suggestion, but overall, a great place to stay. Super friendly staff. Mancunians are really happy and friendly!

The wifi is too expensive. The staff does not seem to be caring too much. The room near to the bridge is too noisy. In addition to the train, the morning wake-up call from the goose in the cannel around 4-5 am is such a pain.

The staff of hostel is really friendly! And the location of YHA is just near by the Roman heritage. You can reach there easily with the free metro-shuttle bus line 3.

Each night costs £3 more than listed. When you arrive they tell you you should have read the small print.

The location of this hostel was a little out of the way and inconvenient for carrying back packs. But everything else was great. Safe, good atmosphere, nice place to chill, clean rooms, helpful staff.

The hostel is allright, the only thing I didn't like is that they charge you for everything.

Very clean, the rooms are great for what you pay. Doesn't feel like a hostel room. Would like free internet if possible and a later check out time! Other than that it was great.

The staff of YHA is helpful and kind, installations are well mantained and operated. The affiliation to YHA is not something very useful, they should tell about this in advance, not telling you as you arrive and must pay because you don't have any option, it seems to be avantageous in their favor. This is the only negative issue I found, besides that I had a very good time in YHA Manchester.
