This was a clean safe hostel, and we enjoyed our time. Definitely a little out of the way, but it does have an MTR station within reasonable walking distance. (We used Sham Shui Po but there is actually another as well.) Sort of separately, we had an extremely hard time finding it. Nobody including our taxi driver had heard of it, the address on the website was different than the one on Google maps (which was correct)

Great position, a few min.walk to the MTR station. easy to acccess anywhere. Room, bathroom, bed are all clean and well set up. Was a pity that atmosphere was so so and roommates are kinda noisy.

Security was perfect, rooms were perfect, place is not the greatest when you want to enjoy HK, a lot of noise in the room

YHA Mei Ho House is the best hostel is Hong Kong. The womens dormitories are comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. The restaurant is excellent and a free cooked breakfast is available with a choice of Hong Kong breakfast, Western style breakfast or Eastern style breakfast. Also there is a guest kitchen and laundry. I found the location a bit inconvenient at Sham Shui Po but that is my only criticism.

Only thing is needed ear plugs. .8 ppl dome you may get someone noisier then yourself.

Love to stay here again. ..

Great little place to stay and the free breakfast was decent! I would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. Safe, clean and comfortable.. What more can you ask for?!

It is the best hostle I've ever lived in! Clean and bright.

Very good hostel, a little bit pricy. Facilities are very good, bath room hotel standard, just wifi not working in room you need to get to the lobby. overall - a happy stay.

It's really nice!!!Safty, clean and comfortable! I'll back next time.

I only stayed one night, but the place was nice. Rooms are modern with lockers. Location was good, nearby to Shek Kip Mei and Sham Shui Po stations. The staff were all pretty nice, i enjoyed my stay.

The idea was exceptional- transforming a former public resettlement building, the earliest in H.K., now a grade II historic building, to a youth hostel. I really love the 'upcylced' look. The architect/ designers had wonderfully retained the nostalgic ambiance . The interior of the cafe is beautiful, the hostel room spacious, and there is a bit of greenery around. However, the receptionist and cleaning lady were really unhelpful. You cannot expect 'service' in many youth hostels after all.
