Location is off the main island so you would think there would be more fun things to do at the hostel to make up for it. Nope.

Very good location, but getting there at first is expensive. The staff wasn't helpful when i needed it and the facilities are too basic, even for a backpacker.

Sensational location; great views across to San Marco. More laid back than main areas of Venice. Staff very helpful. Breakfast disappointing compared to other hostels.

Big, old, hostel only a 5 min boat ride from San Marco. There were a lot of school groups during my stay, which did not impove the 'fun'. Toilets don't have toilet seats and the bed was bad.

Good hostel. For the "Fun" topic, it depends. If you're alone, as i was, is really boring. In a group, you can have a great time. The location is "far away", actually in another island, but don't worry, in twi minutes you can reach de Pz. San Marco in a vaporetto. Nice place, i recommend it.

Dont sleep in Room 102 bed 008, it has bed bugs. As do alot of the beds in all the rooms. The staff are aware of this and still keep sending people to the beds they know are infested. They are "solving" the problem by quarantining some of the beds at any one time but this doesnt change the fact i was eaten alive! Think chickenpox but worse! To go anywhere within the city you need to buy a vaporetto pass (6.5 euro on way) so add that to the cost of this place before you book. Bathrooms dirty

Wonderful location, helpful staff. Breakfast basic, large common room with TV, with kettle and microwave available (but no crockery). Would definitely return and recommend.

This was maybe the dirtyest hostel I've ever stayed in, we even got bugs just staying there for two nights. The staff is very unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

The beds need new mattresses and it is very noisy with the toilet doors slamming during the night. Otherwise, good location and staff
