it's actually a 3 floors college dormitory, mostly used by students. no kitchen, no socialising. useful unless looking for a decent price, clean bed. very clean though and the ladies at the reception are quite helpfull.

Having to be out from ten till two is annoying. Staff were kunts. The keys they gave me were too another guys locker. The place is dead in the evenings. Modena is beautiful though. It was clean.

Slightly strange hostel, virtually empty, perfectly comfortable, not sure if they have improved the showers or I am just less demanding but I found them fine. Really good location. Friendly helpful staff.

For the price, it's ok! It's very cheap. But don't expect much of this hostel (bad shower). The room simple en the surrounding is sober. Not much activity in the city, but a good place if you want to visit the Galleria Ferrari.

Typical standard hostel nothing special here. For a cheap hostel don't expect 5 star accommodations. It's centrally located which is a plus and the staff is very friendly and helpful. 20 min train ride to Bologna if you choose to take a day trip. Showers and bathrooms are dirty and ivy seems to have found a home inside some of the bathrooms as well. Outside noise and lack of air conditioning made sleeping impossible.

Showers are alreay mentioned, what else: very good location between Modena centre and railway station, it's easy to explore close towns. The hostel as quite as it can be in Italy (3 bed dorms were never occupied completely), the only sort of fun is coffee automat.
