a very quite and tranquil location, but minutes walk to downtown and the bus station. It is very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it would be great if they can offer free wi-fi.

The staff was very helpful, and more importantly, friendly and fun! The location is close to the center of town and the bus station if you are looking to travel to Stonehenge, and incredibly beautiful and peaceful; you wouldn't even know you were in town!

Lovely garden setting in sprawling house with a bar and restaurant and all the facilities. I had a single room, which was perfect for me. The hostel was the cleanest I had stayed in, and had great common areas to eat and rest in. The only drawback was some of the guests. A youth hostel is a more peaceful kind of hostel as it caters more to families, but some guests had foghorn mouths in the corridors! This is by no means the hostel's fault. A fantastic hostel, couldn't recommend it more!

I enjoyed staying at Salisbury YH. It is a very charming house not far away from the city centre. Also to mention the fabolouse variety for breakfast. Highly recommended.

I had a great stay. For two nights I had a whole outer building to myself. You had to pay for internet, but that is pretty standard. Good hot showers, beds didn't squeak. All in a beautiful spot that feels really secluded, whilst being very close to town.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel - the location was good, staff were very friendly and helpful and the kitchen seemed well-equipped. Laundry was amazingly cheap, and space is provided for hanging clothes, which is unusual. Downsides are the sub-par mattresses (cheap foam), totally unsecured luggage area, and the lack of any power points in the lodge room out the back. But overall I was happy with the place and would stay here again.

Pros: Great staff, really close to the city centre (less than 5 minutes by foot), clean, a bit more expensive than a regular hostel but considering it's a nice place I think it's worth of the money, they serve drinks there and it isn't expensive. Cons: There were no electrical sockets in the fem dorm, the floor and beds made loud noises and there were no lockers, just a room to place luggage. But I've been there for 6 nights and I didn't had any problems. I recommend this place!

A very good choice. Instead of is a five minutes walking from the center of Salisbury, it is placed in a very quiet and nice place. Is not like other hostels on bigger cities. This one is quiet and relaxing. Staff try to help in everything they can.

I loved it here. Great breaky, great staff, very clean, comfy lounge with games and tv. You have to pay for breaky and Internet access. But it's only 2mins walk from the central bus stop and town center. There are markets every Tuesday, and loads of day trips out which the staff are more than happy to help you out with.

Nice hostel, perfect for travelling to Stonehenge and exploring Salisbury and its amazing cathedral. Facilities were nice and clean, rooms were alright and not very noisy (there were only few people, maybe that's why). Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Location is okay, although it's quite far to walk from the train station. All in all: very good value for money.

Salisbury is a excellent , most clean and beautiful hostel I stay ever!!! The staff is nice, the room and bathroom are very clean. There has 4 cooking spaces that is really nice and equipped :) We chatted and met friend in the kitchen! The have good meals offer as well if you don't want to cook. The hostel location is very close to the centre. For female only 15 minutes walk to the rail station. The hostel front door has an old tree. I hope the hostel can stay for long! I wanna back!!!

It was disappointing that there was no free wifi or breakfast included for the high price we paid. I know it was Christmas time but surely you could have given the guests a little gift for Christmas Day with those as a special bonus!

Judging from the dark splotches on the bed linen, I believed that the hostel has bedbug problems. Seeing and removing one flat, round insect from the mattress gave me the creeps. There was no free breakfast and no free internet access. On the up side, the kitchen there was very well-equipped, and it's a 10mins-walk to the rail station. Overall good value for money.
