Lovely little hostel with good access to country walks, however, when we arrived there was no hot water, the staff said the problem would be fixed the next day but we stayed for 2 nights and had freezing cold showers throughout. Probably not the hostels fault as they were waiting on a part. They did say they would send some vouchers in the post for the inconvenience. Otherwise the hostel was well heated and perfect for a little getaway to the cotswoldsLovely little hostel with good access to country walks, however, when we arrived there was no hot water, the staff said the problem would be fixed the next day but we stayed for 2 nights and had freezing cold showers throughout. Good hostel, good facilities, great location. Only negative is security, we locked our door on leaving in the morning only to find it left unlocked by cleaning staff upon our return, this is a concern as as there is a cafe open to the public on site so anyone can walk into the building and get access to the dorm rooms. Also only 2 lockers available to the whole hostel.Good hostel, good facilities, great location. We arrived to the hostel at 13pm but the hostel reception was closed until 17pm so we had to wait until that time to place our luggage to the hostel, the room was for 6 people and It was a small room, not very comfortable. We arrived to the hostel at 13pm but the hostel reception was closed until 17pm so we had to wait until that time to place our luggage to the hostel, the room was for 6 people and It was a small room, not very comfortable....Close

Fantastic location right in the centre square of the lovely village of Stow - perfect location to explore the region on foot, bike or car. Dorms were spacious & clean. Was suprised by the quantity of "older" ladies in the room - hostel is more of a family hostel than "youth" as most guests were 50+ or families but regardless, had a lovely stay. Quite a good hostel, clean and friendly. Cleaners came through and cleaned everyday but they always left our room unlocked afterwards which was slightly annoying. Myself and two other guests got locked out after 11pm because someone had deadlocked the front door. The people at the pub next door told us that it happens quite often despite what the lady at the hostel tried to tell us about it being a 'one-off'. Also good luck getting a shower because the water pressure is non existent!Quite a good hostel, clean and friendly.
