This hostel was absolutely beautiful. Had a pretty victorian Jane Austin kind of feel. The rooms had tons of space. One of the things that I didn't like was the fact that there were no lockers in the rooms. There was tiny ones in the hall but you had to pay for those. I also didn't like how far out of the way it was. It was at the very end of Stratford (opposite end to the train station). Other wise clean and very comfy!!

I had enjoyed my stay at the hostel very much. It's a bit out the way from town, but it is a lovely big house with some of it's charm. I evening meal was like you would get at school with a glass of water to wash it down. I was hoping that we would get a nice cup of tea or coffee with the meal, as we could not go and help your self, as you need to order it at the frontdesk and pay for it there. I did say do I need to pay for my cup of tea in the morning with my morning breakfast... she said no.

Hostel is a little out of Stratford. I was glad I had a car. The staff were really lovely and friendly. I arrived late and was booked into a shared dorm but they put me into a single on my own and then told me to stay in it for my second night. Showers and toilets were clean. Mattresses were ok and sheets and linen were clean. Breakfast was ok but a little over cooked. All in all a great stay and good place from which to explore the Cotswolds.

Really nice staff and good communal spaces. Just thought breakfast was included in the price and didnt realise it was a 40min walk away from Stratford-upon-avon which I suppose was my fault I should have looked on the map! Thanks

This was one of the nicest yha hostels we have stayed at. The staff were really nice and helpful. Everything was very clean and they had a self-service kitchen. However, it is a forty-five minute walk or a fifteen minute expensive bus ride from Stratford, which is a little annoying. It was also quite annoying how expensive everything was when their motto is to cater to backpackers. (Breakfast was £5, Internet was £5/hour, etc.) but definitely a nice place otherwise.

Good facilities, but I didn't enjoy my time here. Although that has more to do with the fact that the place was overrun with children at the time. It is a little out of the way, but the bus service into Stratford is very frequent. Or you can walk, probably took about 40 mins.

Outwardly friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant vibe about the place. Incredibly creaky beds, but if that's all you can grumble about then that perhaps tells its own story.

Breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful and served us dinner early so that we could get away to go to the theatre on time

it was good, quiet, peaceful, spacious place with nice garden. But here I would like to say just two things; no free internet access( you have to pay 5 pounds per day),additional membership fee of YHA(3 pounds per day or 10 pounds for one year membership),it might be better place for family but it would be very boring even without internet connection for solo traveller. But it is good to go to Warwick castle in front of hostel. Between 7:20 pm and 9:15pm, no bus service from town center to hostel.

Our booking was cancelled 2 weeks before arriving despite booking 4 months in advance. Not impressed.
