pros: live music night, beautiful countryside, friendly/helpful staff, nice quiet lounge, sink in room, plug and light by bed, nice shower, suggestions for nearby attractions painted on the wall, quiet upstairs during downstairs party cons: far away from stratford (45 minute walk), no free breakfast, wifi only works well on ground floor, nothing to prevent clothes from getting wet while showering (ie- no shower curtain), toilets didnt work well, bathrooms small
Really nice rooms, a bit far from Stratford, but fine if traveling by car. Nice restaurant/bar attached. Wifi difficult to connect to praise of main reception and lounge.
The room was small but large enough for what we needed it for and clean, the separate bathroom facilities were clean they offered a laundry service which was helpful and the food was decent. Overall a good place for one night.
The place was very far away from the town center of Stratford-Upon-Avon, apart from that the hostel has the basics but not in the best conditions, specially the toilets, there was only three toilets and three showers per floor for approximately 20 rooms, including my room (6 people) just imagine how much people use the bathroom per day and even when I told this to the receptionist so they can send someone to clean, they didnt do it in the two days I stayed there.

Although updated the room did not smell clean; people were noisy late in the evening so it made it difficult to sleep
The room was clean and comfortable, no problems there. The building was in a great location, and I wish we had more time to do day biking or hiking trips. Having a bar in the hostel was excellent, though the local Ferry Inn was a great recommendation from the staff. Really the one down side was the noise. Any time a person walked by the room (or on the floor above) it was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. If not people walking, there was construction outside our window. Overall, good stay
The hostel is great, but its also more than 2 miles from the center of Stratford.
