A very good and well run YHA. Often, YHAs are criticised for lacking character but this one is certainly among the better ones. We had to reduce the number of nights of our booking and the staff were excellent with sorting this out and very understanding. Comfy beds, nice kitchen and lounge area and really cute garden. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Tauranga.

To whom it may concern, we had an excellent time, and thoroughly recommend the YHA to anybody wondering about the backpackers experience. 10 out of 10. We will come back in the near future. Cheers, Steve and Vinnie. From Auckland.

Lyn de manager was very very nice and helpful with us, but the other girl at the desk reception was unfriendly with us and dont have good disposition for help. Lyn la manager fue muy muy simpatica y agradeble, y nos ayudó mucho, pero la otra niña de la recepción fue poco amigable y no tiene buena disposición para ayudar.
