could not fault this hostel in whitby at all. Excellent.

very great hostel! enjoyed our stay very much! location is just awesome and the staff was really lovely. the only little minus was for us that the breakfast was not that good as we expected. the typical english breakfast was not really that tasty but therefore it was all you can eat and plenty of other things you could eat. for the next visit in Whitby we now exactelly where to stay!! :)

Amazing location with the added bonus of free admission to the ancient abbey included in the price of your stay! Good kitchen, clean bathrooms, large spacious rooms. However it was pretty drafty and cold, particularly in the kitchen, and the wind hits the rooms pretty hard so on stormy nights sleep is a bit challenging! But overall a very nice hostel in a historic location - would definetly recommend.

You can choose three different meals each evening and it is good cheap home made dinners.

Excellent staff and an unbeatable location with free entry into the Abbey, could not ask for more

Had a really lovely visit, thank you to the hostel, but....book selection great but no board games and worse, no jigsaws! my one chance this year. Noticed this clearing out at other hostels and met other disappointed visitors [Wilderhope]. Could we have them back please and scrap the television, it dominates the whole lounge.
