Comfy beds & crazy-delicious breakfast -- recommend. Location: kinda far from civilization, though you do get a shockingly stunning view of the Lake District from a remote, high place! Overall: highly recommend, especially for low-cost!

The overall stay was really nice with fascinating view and cozy room. The location was in the mountain and was about 20minutes walk from the bus station. But I really loved the place although it was a little bit far. If you would like to stay in Windermere, it should be a suitable place to choose.

Very pleasant stay with hard working staff.

Hostel is in a really nice place, with fantastic view. Room was clean and nice, beds were comfortable. Staff was kind of bored, and demotivated. Pizza in the restaurant is awful and expensive, better to go to somewhere else to eat.

Hostel isn't the easiest to get to if you don't have a car. Its a long walk up a hill or a £8 taxi. Hostel it's self was good and very clean

What a lovely place to arrive after a long journey. Really welcoming and friendly staff, brilliant location, beautiful views, walks and very clean facilities. My Dad was so impressed with everything that he didn't stop talking about it and he's definitely not easy to please. We will definitely spread the word.

It's located up on the hill so you need some work out but It's worth climbing up cause it has nice view and nice fire camp place surrounded by tall trees up there. There are lots of toilets and showers all around in the hostel. Kitchen and dining room are big and it has wonderful outside tabled with a view as well. Every night we made a fire and did BBQ. You need a bus to get the hostel but wherever you are it's better to have day bus ticket anyway.
