A little far from the train station but the walk is beautiful so doesn't matter. Very nice and clean.

nice quiet place, pleasant staff, beautiful view from bedroom and terrace, quite a walk to the nearest pub, substantial well-priced breakfast, spacious bedroom, a shame to charge for Internet and prohibit own alcohol.

We enjoyed the stay in a six-female dorm, and the dinner was so great! However unfortunately the place is a bit difficult to find, and I think most people will spend some time to get there, unless they drive. Now because of the shuttle bus,I believe it's much easier.

This was one of the best hostels we have ever stayed in. It was so peaceful, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with our stay as the hotels are were charging an extortionate amount of money per night. The hostel is clean, tidy and functional and the staff are friendly and helpful. Having the hostel in that location made it perfect for a challenging walk around lake windermere, many thanks. Mark Holland

The curfew is not good if you want to go star gazing... Which we did.

Lovely hostel - quite a hike up the hill, but you´re probably going to Windermere for hiking anyways. Curfew is a bit annoying, but chances are you´re exhausted from hiking and going to bed early anyways, though it would be nice to go out for some stargazing.
