I would stay clear, I did not feel safe at this hostel. Room keys are left in the open at reception and during the day I had my Lap Top Stolen from my room and I was the only one in the room. Staff were rude ! and did not help with the recovery of my pc at all. Pay the extra money and stay at a hotel. Its not worth it and I have stayed at Many Many hostels and this was the worst.

It was good for the only hostel. Its a 20 mins walk in or can catch the bus which is close. The rooms were clean and the showers were very good. Purely dependant on the people you meet.

Spartan facilities and unsmiling staff. Clean but more functional than fun! A long way out of town

The hostel does lack character but as a single traveller there is slim pickings in Siena so it was fine, and clean.

The bathrooms were amazing. other than that this hostel (which is more like a hotel) is very very basic. There wasnt a guest kitchen and there was nowhere really for everyone to sit and chat. it was about 30 min walk into the town but the buses were just outside. Be Aware that this place isnt called the YHA hostel but the Ostella di Siena. Makes for a very conusing time trying to find the place!

It took us 40 minutes on the bus to get to the train station from the hostel. Directions need to be updated, it's not clear how to get there after you get off the bus at ostello Hairs on blankets. Coffee disgusting. Absolutely no character.

a bit of a walk or bus trip into town. But if you are travelling on your own you are probably not going to get much closer anyway. Nice place no reason to tell someone not to stay

good breakfast. clean bathrooms. away from the city center, but easy to reach by bus, and relatively close to the train station.

Bathrooms were a kind of dirty. Breakfast consisted of a drink and a piece of bread.
