YMCA Avignon

The YMCA hostel is located in Villeneuve-les-Avignon, over the river from Avignon 30 minute walk from Avignon centre. Our hostel has a very quiet, relaxed feel. There are plenty of common areas including a cafeteria, terrace, and pool.

We welcome you on your own, with your family or as a group throughout the year for your holidays and your exploration of the region, also as an international meeting venue or for your sporting or artistic events.

If you are simply looking for a bed to sleep in, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Sheets are provided, and there are sinks in the rooms and space to hang some clothes. Rooms are secure -- each requiring keycard access.

The hostel has plenty of facilities. There is a large carpark on the premises (locked at night). Washing can be done for 4 euros. Breakfast in the restaurant costs 7 euros and dinner 12. There is a TV with plenty of stations, and a computer to use the internet. Internet can, however, be found cheaper at internet cafes in Avignon. There are luggage storage facilities if you plan to stay in Avignon past 9:30 a.m. on the day of departure. You can play table tennis on the terrace or simply enjoy the views of Avignon and the river.

Please also note our reception is opened until 18.00hrs, if you are arriving after this time there will be someone to accomodate you up until 21.00hrs (Monday to Friday)
Saturday and Sunday : 9.00hrs until 12.00hrs and 18.00hrs until 21.00hrs.
