Character : there are absolutely none. Atmosphere : too calm, too serious. Cleanliness : extremely small kitchen which is only cleaned once a day. One kitchen for all floors ! Super dirty during the day. Signs (when you say people need to clean there dishes) are written by hand, looks really cheap and not professional !

A good comfortable reasonably priced place for a stay within walking distance of whats left of the city centre and the hospital.

It has a dirty and small kitchen, I think that in hostels that's a really important fact.

Kitchen was tiny and didn't have much cutlery Cost quite a lot for a 10 bed dorm that wasn't overly nice Dated and needs a revamp

The kitchen was very dirty and most of all extremely smelly. Most of the bathrooms were damaged. Unlocjable doors, hardly any water coming out of the shower and just dirty.

Overall a good hostel in the currently limited number around the city. Clean and comfy, good TV lounges. Only downfall really was the ridiculously small kitchen, about 3 meters squared. Also a big problem with food going missing from the one fridge that is available.

Good, cheap, central hostel. Not bad, not great. Most importantly would stay again.

The kitchen area is rather too small. The bed is soft and very comfy. Overall I found it's a service value for money hostel.

Good location, but not really a nice place to stay. No character, the kitchen was very small and smelled. Good for 1 night, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer.

The kitchen was woefully inadequate for such a large hostel. It would have been fine for a 10 or 20 bed hostel, but the YMCA is much larger than this. With it being so small it was very difficult for people using it to keep clean, and the fridge was so full it would be easy for uncooked meats to come into contact with cooked foods. Generally the rooms and bathrooms were clean.

The kitchen is too small, considering there are no cheap meals available. Cleaning made a mistake, cleared my bed and threw away my bottle and (just new bought) magazine, misplaced my own towels and put my recharger in the lost

We stayed at double room and that was nice: big clean room, comfy beds. The common kitchen wasn´t that nice: it was small and dirty. The location is OK, not in the city center, but there is nice park near.

Seriously rude and absolutely useless guy on reception. Better off in a friendly hostel with character! We found this just an empty corridored building.
