The room had no attached bath as was advertised. A hall bath for the floor was in use....

The YMCA is well located, you can walk to downtown or subway green line is very close. The facilities seem to be from 1950's or so. Everything very old and with oxyde. One room had window without air-conditioning, wich was good comparing the other room that had windows locked with a non-functioning air conditioning unit, "safely" installed with american tape.

The TVs on the 7th floor really don't work - (one can't be plugged in, the other get 3 channels poorly). When a neighbor told the staff nothing was done.

The rooms were not acceptable. May be, they will fit for poor students. It should be important to know for tourists, what kind of standard this YMCA has. I shouldn´t have booked, if I knew in advance! We didn´t check in. Sorry.

Rooms were dated and were bunks. Location is very near subway to centre. Showers were almost communal and the ladies room shower was like being sandblasted.

Not a great hostel, absolutely dead atmosphere and is very vast. We didn't have bedbugs but the womens bathroom was very dirty, mens were ok though. Internet isn't available at the weekend and only from 7-9 mon-fri. The young girl at reception is an absolutely useless bitch!

I stayed total two days in different rooms. First day it was really hot and no common lamp in the room, only one night lamp, no shower in the seventh floor...overall it was horrible. Second day it was better than first day. But they allowed me to keep my luggages for one whole day in the locker room. Position is very good.
