The YWCA offers hotel standard facilities. Rooms are modern and well laid out. Our en suite shower was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful- informed us of places to eat and buy food and provided a box of crockery and utensils just for our use. Location is good at the end of Robson and about 10 minutes to main shops. Security was well thought out. Room keys to operate lifts and safe deposits to store valuables- they also a secure room for bags. For the price compares well against others.

An absolute great place to stay if you're backpacking. Everything is clean and the location is perfect.

A hotel room should of had a bathroom in it, not separately for $100 a night, expensive and wifi should of been included. Bad price.

Nice, clean hotel with hostel facilities, though no free Wi-Fi.

Best deal for the money when backpacking.

The hostel was wonderfully located and the staff were all very pleasant! One thing I would suggest is, if the room is available prior to the appointed check in time, let us know :) There may be a reason you don't, and although luggage storage is useful and much appreciated, being able to check into your room if its available early is a great help.

Nice set up and good sized private room. My partner got food poisoning from a restaurant in the city (not from this hostel!) on the first night and fortunately this was a really comfy place for her to recover. The staff also allowed us to extend our check-out time (for a small fee) which was really helpful!
